There's a lot to say about my experience here, but the main takeaway is that, given the price, I'm not sure the food lived up to its cost. If it were priced a bit lower, I could see it working well as a convenient takeout option. However, for the amount spent, I left feeling somewhat unsatisfied. The food isn't necessarily bad--it's actually quite decent--but it doesn't stand out as exceptional, either. It lands somewhere in the middle, neither impressively good nor disappointing, but I'm unsure it offers enough value for the price. One of the most surprising parts of my experience was that, even though I ordered several different dishes to sample a variety of flavors, I still left feeling hungry. It's rare that I feel this way after dining out, and I'm not sure if that's because the food itself wasn't particularly filling or if it had something to do with portion sizes. This left me with a lingering question about whether the overall experience was worth it or if it's simply the nature of the dishes they serve here.On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It had a fair number of customers, which is usually a reassuring sign of a restaurant's quality. The staff was also attentive, polite, and responsive to our needs--they made sure to check in with us regularly and promptly brought us anything we requested, which added a nice touch to the experience. As for the food, I ordered a variety to get a broad sense of what they offer: cheese wontons, a complimentary egg roll that came with the meal, potstickers, and house fried rice. Each dish had its strengths, though none really stood out as remarkable. The cheese wontons were crispy and flavorful, but nothing particularly unique. The potstickers were cooked well, with a good texture and flavor balance, but again, didn't wow me. The egg roll was standard but enjoyable, adding a nice little crunch to the meal. The house fried rice, however, was a bit of a mixed experience; while it was cooked decently, some of the meat pieces were slightly overcooked, which took away from the enjoyment. The rice itself had a good consistency, though, so it was by no means a bad dish--just a little uneven.Overall, I'm not entirely sure if I'll be returning for another meal, primarily because of the price relative to the food quality and portion sizes. I might come back to sample a few different dishes to see if perhaps I just didn't choose the best items on the menu. If I do return, I'll likely go in with more tempered expectations. I would encourage anyone interested to give it a try for themselves, but I'd recommend going in with realistic expectations--don't expect anything particularly extraordinary, but you'll likely enjoy a clean environment with friendly service and a decent meal.

Stopped in for to go and woah!! It was good. Such big portions. The sushi was amazing. The pricing was great. The fried rice wasn't super awesome, but that's ok. The service was fast and the place was very casual!

This is a nice little Asian restaurant in a strip mall here in Statesville. Most of the time, we've ordered bento boxes to be delivered and have enjoyed them. Eating inside is best, though. It's cozy and clean and the workers are pleasant. The egg rolls (which were nice when delivered) were fantastic hit, right out of the fryer. (Seriously. We could have eaten many of these, but we stopped at one each. Lol)Their Lo Mein is very good, but their scallion chicken really is scrumptious. I highly recommend Wild Wok as a reliable place for good food.

2021 Nov 21; this is a hole in the wall kind of place. A strip mall shop. These are the very places i love to try because you never know what experiences you will find. It is always a surprise to walk in the door. Some good, some not. But for me the exploration is part if the fun. And i have found some great places like this which would never seem so from the outside. This place was clean if a bit crowded when we entered. The staff was quick to seat us and get our order process started. The menu is not as full of variety as some places, but it has a good enough variety that i am sure anyone can find something good to try. For me the chicken egg rolls were great! The Egg drop soup was good and as i am accustomed to. The broccoli beef was good with a great and flavorful sauce. The fried rice is was again as I expected. Over all, the food was good and i was happy with the service. I would definitely go back.

One of our colleagues is leaving the Company and moving to San Diego. Statesville loss is San Diego's gain the Alex is a very talented young lady. There were five of us not counting Alex. This is in the location of the old Sweet Frog in the Crossroads Shopping Center and is next to Sorrento's Italian Restaurant.Their opening was October 21 so not been open long but with a long tradition of excellence from their Hickory locations. Most of us ordered Bento Boxes with were very well stocked and more than you could eat in a single setting.I went a little lighter and stayed with just a Caterpillar Roll which was excellent and had a nice crunch with it. Quality of food is excellent. Portion sizes are a bit less than at Sukura or Katana but still a very good value.Service is a bit slow but again they have only been open for about 3 weeks so will only get better we hope

For an Asian restaurant it is definitely different. I was pleasantly surprised to see sushi and hibachi mixed. We ordered miso soup, chicken and shrimp hibachi, pot stickers and a pink lady roll. My husband's chicken and shrimp hibachi came with a Cous Cous type of rice instead of traditional white or fried rice. He said it was OK. He stated that the chicken was quite bland and I tasted it and agreed but the shrimp and carrots were delicious. My pot stickers were very good and the roll was outstanding. They have a ginger soy sauce which is amazing! Takes the food up a notch from regular soy sauce. The miso soup was great tasting and settled my upset stomach very well. The portions on the hibachi were large. He got plenty of food for the price. I will definitely order from here again.
