Wild Wok

Smells and looks great upon entry of the restaurant. However, it was not very busy and still took an hour to get our food and we sat for long periods of time with no water/had to remind our waiter for water. Prices are very fair especially at lunch time. Food was okay but had some unnecessary flavoring/sauce in my opinion (for hibachi) and I couldn't finish my food because of that and the veggies were HUGE, not cut at all. Ordered summer rolls with peanut sauce for appetizers and that was honestly the best part of our meal! Probably won't return. I've gotten better hibachi at drive through Asian restaurants

Ordered to go as we have numerous times in the past. I will preface this review and say the current manager must be new or just not care anymore. The California roll tasted old and the amount of smelt roe on the crunchy roll was inedible and was the only thing that could be tasted. The wontons were stale. The service as usual was great. Until I called. Was told and I quote "manager said last week we got a bad batch, there's nothing he is going to about it". I ask if that means about the bad batch or this specific instance to make the situation right. The reply was "both". This is a health and safety hazard. I would recommend the ownership reevaluate their management and retrain or replace.

Delicious sushi and wonderful dining experience. Just started coming two weeks ago and prefer them of my usual spot nearby .

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this Wild Wok location! The food is amazing, the services is EXCELLENT! I've built an connection with the workers every time I come in they know exactly what sushi roll I want!

Fantastic food and service. Got the Singapore noodles for lunch with an egg roll. Fantastic, and huge portion size for lunch. I couldn't finish it. Plenty of seating room which I wasn't expecting. Would come back again to try other meal options. The sweet and sour chicken was also really good.

Great little Asian Bistro! The food is good, sushi is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing! The service from the manager/owner is great - the others need some work but nothing to complain about! Good find, I'm a regular!

Came here on a weekend dinner. There wasn't much of a wait to sit for a group of 7, but we did end up with two round tables awkwardly pieced together. The waitress was absolutely wonderful. She got our orders super quick, and she definitely kept the refills coming. She was also super attentive whenever we needed anything.I got the chirashi (different sashimi), and it was very meh. The rolls had meh fish as well. The stir fry was great though! The vegetarian paradise was great - the tofu was super crispy and the sauce was great. Would definitely recommend getting a stir fry with tofu here and avoid the sushi! The meat dishes were decent as well.

The food is affordable and huge portions are served. The appetizers and meal came out quickly and friendly service provided.

Food is great and has a wide selection so take your time choosing! Service is quick and friendly. Though it isn't top tier Chinese food, I can honestly say that the food is better than a lot of other asian joints. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge (which are always a plus for next day's lunch)! Their appetizers could be better and tables could be cleaned a little better (little sticky). But the location is great and convenient for both Hickory and Newton folk. I come out to Wild Wok every now and then and order their seafood with cha cha sauce (corn starch and chicken stock mix with a little spice) and it never disappoints!

Food was cold and flavors were off. Used to be a really good place. Need serious remodeling too. Nasty.
