Love coming here for frozen custard sandwiches! The big chunk of frozen custard is placed in between two delicious cookies. Flavors include vanilla, chocolate and an ever rotating flavors of the week.

Joseph was very helpful in explaining the ordering process and options. I tried two samples: salted caramel and strawberry . I opted for 1 scoop of the salted caramel. It was so yummy and I couldn't pass it up. It is pricy, so this is definitely a treat item kind of place. The place is clean and there is cute decor. From last year, they have a new turn in from the main road which is a lot safer. The parking lot however is tight and a bit hard to maneuver especially if you have a large vehicle. You can sit inside or outside to enjoy your ice cream or take it to go.

Ice cream was on my mind, so we decided to eat custard at Whit's. You can come in and get a pint, ice cream sandwich, or a drumstick made already to take home. I love how you can create your own masterpiece. Cheesecake was pacing back and forth in my head. So, I decided to go with strawberry and cheesecake. Dawkins, who was helping us recommend a lot on different options. He suggested my husband added carmel to his Twix ice cream. It's a nice place to enjoy a sweet treat.

Cute little shop for a frozen treat. You order at the counter and pay and then they make your treat. They have a calendar showing their special flavors. Everything was tasty!

Whit's Frozen Custard is an excellent choice to head for if you are in the mood for a frozen treat. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the ice cream (frozen custard) is pretty stellar.Prices here are definitely good. In a world where we are seeing a shift towards the habit of putting the word "craft" in front of a product and proclaiming it elevated and adding several dollars to the price tag (much like these "craft" burger places), it is refreshing to see an old school ice cream place with old school prices producing a quality ice cream.I would definitely recommend this location of Whit's Frozen Custard and I give it five stars.

My favorite sweet treats spot! Best custard in Charlotte! Best staff too. My favorite flavors are the coffee toffee crunch and the pecan toffee crunch!

I went to Goodwill to do some bargain book hunting. Love that! Some of the worst books I have ever read came from Goodwill, but so have some of the best, especially Witch Child and Sorceress (sequel to Witch Child). On this day, not only did I find good books (I think), but I got some excellent frozen custard across the street. I'm not sure if I had ever had frozen custard, but this was really good! Only one problem...I paid cash and received three coins as change: a quarter, a nickel, and a penny. No big deal except I was wearing my swoosh pants (for the gym) that have a hole in the interior lining in the right pocket. So, the coins jingled as I walked to my car. You can't remove coins from inside the interior lining unless you take your pants off. Solution: Eat the frozen custard, go to the gym, and take my pants off in the bathroom at the gym. No sweat! (No pun intended) When I arrived at the gym (still jingling), I exited my car, locked the door, and put my keys in my pocket. Yeah ... that pocket. Now I couldn't get into the gym or my car. I only had one option....I went to the few trees between the gym and the office building and took care of it there, but it's kind of strange to sit in the middle of a small batch of trees midday pantless while hunting for coins and keys inside the interior lining of those pants. Nobody saw me, which made it a little less awkward. However, I would recommended using caution when visiting Goodwill to hunt for books while wearing swoosh pants. You never know where it might lead. As far as the frozen custard goes, definitely recommend.

I happened to be in Huntersville and I had a taste for some ice cream. I did a quick look at my "want to try" list and this came up. The images looked so yummy so I knew that I wanted to stop in. There were two benches in front. The interior reminded me of a diner. There were four booths. I didn't take any images because there were families at the booths. There were two people in front of me so that gave me time to take a look at the menu and choose what I want. I like that they had a grab n' go area. I decided to order the "Heavenly Huntersville" Whitser which is brownie bites, hot fudge, and chopped nuts. I also added peanut butter sauce. The person behind the counter was nice and answered any questions that I had. When I received my ice cream I was super excited because it looked delicious! It was yummy and I was so satisfied. Everything was great till I got past the stop... there were no brownie bits or chopped nuts just vanilla ice cream. It seemed that all of the mix-ins were only at the top, not mixed throughout. That made me sad, I'm not a fan of that. For that reason, I will not return or recommend the Whitser.
