Waxhaw Escape

We took the kids and some of their friends here for a fun Saturday adventure. It's fun for the whole family and people of all ages. We have people in their 30s, teens, and an 8 year old, and everyone had a great time. The puzzles were not too complicated but were challenging at times. Great experience!

Great experience at Waxhaw Escape Room! They offer more than your traditional escape room. We chose the Extraction Point - Virtual Reality" and we loved it. Waxhaw Escape room is by appointment only - so make sure that you just don't show up. They are located in a business strip next to 9rounds. It was really easy to make the appointment online. We were greeted right when we came in the door. The lobby area was nice and inviting. No cell phones are allowed and there are lockers to place your items. We received a brief tutorial and then it was time to put on the gear. We put on 4 sensors (on our hands and feet) and then the VR headset. This was my first experience and I enjoyed it. This was a great family team builder. Everyone had a great time and we plan to return!

Such a great experience and we will definitely be back!I came here with a group of 7 for our company holiday party/ team building and we had so much fun! The owner, Ken, and staff were so helpful and accommodating and they truly want you to have a great time. We all did "Alice's Dream" together and it was such a cool room. The decor, puzzles and everything was so on point and as a Alice fan, it was really neat. We escaped!! I can't wait to take my husband to the other room, it's easily one of my favorite escape rooms I've been to!

I went here yesterday with my boyfriend and my friend and her husband. It was a great experience. I've been to other escape rooms but this one was the most interactive one I have been too. It is also wonderfully decorated. I loved the Alice in Wonderland theme this month! Also, want to give a shout-out to Dave. He was our "helper" and he did an amazing job making sure we had a great time. I will definitely recommend this place and Dave!

My hubby and I did Alice's Dream room as a date night, just the two of us. It was awesome! We highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back for their next room.

We had never done any kind of escape room but my daughter (17) & I tried this last night. We live right down the road & we're looking for something different to do together. We had an absolute blast. It was laid back, not at all scary, & challenging enough to be fun. We asked for more than few hints lol but made it out with time rn skate. Extremely unique & fun experience. Can't wait to try the new rooms when they open!

Just finished the Alice in Wonderland game tonight for my brothers birthday, and it was a lot of fun! Would highly recommend this to anyone look for a good escape room. We finished with 30 seconds to spare!!

Our family got to beta test Alice's Dream as they prepared to open and we all had a blast! This is the most technology-enabled Escape Room we have done and so you really have to use your imagination to find all the hidden gems in the room. The room is beautifully decorated to the theme and so much of the environment is a part of the puzzles. Our kids ages 11 and 14 were able to be a big part of the game and help solve many of the puzzles. Lastly, we loved that it is an hour long because although it does go by fast, you really have time to enjoy the game and get into the magic of the experience. We highly recommend this to other families and we can't wait to try more rooms here when they open!

We --our family of 5, with kids 16, 14, and10-- really enjoyed this. We'd been to one other escape room in Charlotte and wondered how this one in our small town could compare. It was actually fantastic. Everybody helped solve the puzzles in some way. Our "guide" (David) was great. Currently, there are 2 rooms, three more by the end of the year. We're excited to try them all!
