Waxhaw Creamery

There's no place better! Waxhaw creamery has delicious ice cream, creative flavors, and the cutest area to sit outside and enjoy and hopefully see the train go by. I am a regular here and I've never had any frost bite or taste issues, it is so good! Service is efficient with an order and wait situation, much better than other ice cream shops in the area. Check it out!

This place is out of the way for me, but it's worth the effort. Hands down, the best ice cream in the area.

Today I decided to ride my motorcycle to a local ice cream shop waxhaw creamery to get blackberry swirl ice cream. I road up on a loud Harley and walked in to the order line. I noticed maybe three people behind the counter, and three salespeople on the same side of the counter as myself. They were selling their pitch as I was left standing for 4mins waiting to order. No one said anything to me and I know they saw me, I'm 6'4 tall black man. Needless to say I turned and walked out, still not one word. Your sales reps and your poor customer service cost you my business and my friends business. Not a good look for Waxhaw at all!!!!!

Very cute little ice cream shop. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Flavors are very tasty.

When in downtown Waxhaw, this is a definite must stop ice cream shop. I read the reviews and my daughter has been here many times but I had to see for myself. Well this weekend, I dropped in and there wasn't too much of a long line so I was able to order my ice cream quickly and be served quickly as well. The the creamery is a medium size shop with not much seating but I was fine with this because my daughter and I decide to walk afterwards.The waitstaff and associates are wonderful, friendly and patient which helped because I really needed some time to decide what I wanted because they offer so many different flavors. I decided to go with Salted Caramel which was very creamy, delicious and the scoops were big. I believe everything is freshly made daily and they do have seasonal flavors during the year. I will be going back as a repeat customer in the future and I highly recommend Waxhaw Creamery

Double. Dark. Chocolate. That should be all I have to say. Its all my family and I needed to see before we ordered our scoops. And we weren't even all together when we ordered. But we know what we like and that was it! I ordered a scoop in a sugar cone. I probably should have gone with a cup. The scoop was so big that it hung over the cone by quite a lot. It was a hot day in Waxhaw so I had to eat quickly. So quickly I gave myself a brain freeze. That was unpleasent. But the ice cream was really good. It is rich and creamy. Refreshing on such a hot day.If you're cruising around downtown Waxhaw and you've already had lunch, be sure to swing by the Waxhaw Creamery too.

Stopped in to check it out and glad I did. They have many options and flavors to choose from, service was quick and friendly. The ice cream flavors are pretty plain but they have a lot of toppings choices. Milkshake was really good too!

A delicious local creamery found in the cute, little town of Waxhaw! We got the pumpkin and mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle bowl. They were pretty generous with the size of the scoops. My favorite was the pumpkin, and it was probably one of the best ones I've had! It's so creamy and you can actually taste the pumpkin. It doesn't taste artificial either. Their waffle bowl was crunchy and the perfect addition to their ice cream! Their COVID regulations are A+! All staff were masked up and they even have arrows going around the store to ensure proper social distancing. Check them out if you're in the area!

This is such a cute downtown and the ice cream store fits the vibe. We thought the service was great and the ice cream was out of this world

Waxhaw creamery is soooo good! The butter pecan will forever be my favorite. Only thing that we didn't like was that you can't sample any of their stuff. So with littles that's hard because my son wants to try new things but we had to stick to basics because of the no samples rule they have. Other than that great ice cream!
