This is a hotel bar, that in mind, the prices are ridiculous... not in a good way. The staff is amazing, the drinks are ok, but 18 dollars for one not top shelf beverage because you are a hotel is just shady.... At,o sphere, is pretty decent, there's a patio, pool table and other business travelers bitching about the costs of goods.. The food is eeehhhhh.... I had wings which were not crispy, had decent flavor but at the end of the day, I was the only person that ordered food in the 3 hours I was there... could be a sign, for overpriced and lackluster menu

I came here for drinks one night to meet up some friends that were from out of town. The bar and atmosphere itself is great. The views are awesome and the seating is cozy. I'm giving 3 stars because the girls at the bar were on the younger side and when I told the girl I wanted a Malibu Bay Breeze she looked at me really confused and asked what that was and then told me she will just google it. I appreciate the honesty but I much rather her play it cool and say ok and ask someone. My drink tasted ok. I didn't get another drink after that. I would definitely come back for the atmosphere.

Bar is located on the 4th floor of the Aloft hotel. The bar staff is excellent and make quality drinks. They have various DJs that play there on Fridays and Saturdays. Although located inside of a hotel,, this spot is very popular with the locals. Many say this spot is their go to spot to dance and drink. Always a good time here.

Love the bar at Aloft Hotel! You DO NOT have to have a room to come hang out at the bar! Drinks are always yummy and bartenders are so nice! I come here for events all the time. They have stuff going on many nights of the week and anyone can join! They also have a DJ every weekend! It's a party!

I'm a local and have been here several times before and always had a decent experience. I went tonight and had a really negative experience. We went downtown looking for a second location, and there was a long line at the other rooftop bar SIP so I suggested we go to WXYZ. After this, I will never recommend WXYZ again. The bartender was rude to people in my group when we arrived and refused to respond to any questions about current beer options other than pointing to a draft beer list on the wall.Because they had a limited beer list left over, I asked for a double of bottom shelf whiskey (Bulleit Rye). They handed me the drink and a bill for 30$ for a single drink. In retrospect, I should have asked the price beforehand, but the bartender was busy and I didn't want to take more time than necessary, so I went with the cheaper option instead of asking the price of a MacCallan 12 - and thank god I didn't order that!I initially wrote off 30$ plus a tip as hotel prices, but then I spoke with the rest of my group, who were charged significantly less for multiple drinks. For example, another person in my group paid less than 30$ for three drinks, and one of those was a Manhattan made with Monkey Shoulder. Since it seemed like I got overcharged, I asked the bartender if my bill was correct, since I was charged 30$ for two shots out of a bottle of whiskey only worth 45$ at most. The bartender said the price was set by the bar and they put in the code correctly. Honestly, I don't know if the bartender lied and overcharged me or if the hotel policy is to charge 30$ for two drinks out of a 45$ bottle. The bartender did give a generic apology to one of the people in my group as we paid the bill to leave, and St. Patrick's day is a rough day to bartend with a single person serving a full bar. Still, this experience was bad enough that I don't plan to ever come back here.If you order from them, you need to ask the price every time so you don't get screwed by them. I don't know if it's the management or the bartender, but what I experienced was completely unacceptable. Given a choice, I will never come back here again, and instead of recommending WXYZ as a downtown spot to try, I will tell friends coming into town to avoid them.I'm sorry to lose a spot that I otherwise would have recommended as a pretty good rooftop bar.

One of downtown Greenville's rooftop bars and probably top three on my list. It's part of the Aloft Hotel but you don't have to be a guest to go up to the fourth floor bar. Their happy hour is every day from 4-7PM and it's $4 for wines, select draft beers and well drinks. They now have a menu for food which all look so delicious annnnd if you just want a snack, they have bottles of bar snacks including popcorn, trail mix, pretzels. There's so much to do here! The inside is set up as a modern lounge with shuffleboard, a pool table, a Pac-Man machine (so cool!), a giant connect four game and they will occasionally host a live band here. There are two outside patios with comfy sofas and high top tables as well as heater lamps and a fire place for when it gets cold. For dog lovers, I've seen a few dogs up there so I think they're welcome. Plus they will sometimes have a puppy there up for adoption. Whoever thought of this was brilliant. A bar full of people drinking...can you imagine a faster way to get a puppy adopted?

We stayed the weekend at the Aloft and this little gem was a fun spot, they had a DJ on Friday and Saturday night and the vibe was pretty fun. The drinks were good and the bar food was good, but most of all we spent a few hours enjoying the pool table and shuffle board.

The bar has a clean modern vibe and is dog friendly. I guess if you can't go out without your dog, you have a great place to hang out. If you are able to go out without your dog, watch your step, you do not want to step on Fido's tail :-).The patio is nice, but it was a cool night with only 1 of the 4 heaters on.

This bar sucks. If you're a custy noob you're gonna love it. Otherwise, steer clear. I can't think of a single reason to return. Prices are high and the atmosphere blows. Stay away!
