VRTX IN STALLINGSThis was my second visit and it happened to be - brunch Sunday. I was not aware there was a different menu for brunch, sharing the website for anybody that would like to peruse it.https://www.vrtxnc.com/menuI ordered quite a few different items in order to try the menu a little further than my first visit.I was not disappointed! First of all, I will say if something is not up to par, they are totally on top of it and address any issues. I asked for a side of their homemade pickles and pickled vegetables, I was not disappointed! Sooo good! I paid a teeny bit extra and it was with it.My favorite? The blackened shrimp and artichoke dip and the flatbread garlic mushroom pizza. Wow!!!! Not for anything, but they had an amazing garlic crostini to put the dip on! I'm not gonna lie? That was my favorite. Super good and I highly recommend it. The shrimp are chopped up in the cheese.That doesn't mean I didn't like the other dishes I ordered? Everything was great! If you want a little bit more salt? Ask. they cook healthy and that means light on the salt. I didn't have a problem with that.The breading on the fried chicken sandwich? Was absolutely amazing. Very light and crisp, not heavy. The chicken was tender, perfectly cooked and juicy. I ordered the Holy Ghost minus the ghost pepper I cannot handle that but I wanted the other ingredients - arugula and bacon jam and I added an egg! Another one of my favorites was the side of cilantro coleslaw, it had the perfect amount of vinegar in it and I really enjoyed it! I didn't want to do french fries, so they allowed me to switch out. I ordered a biscuit just to try and it was pretty good - sharing a picture here. I promise you if you go back and you try the garlic mushroom flatbread you will not regret it! I took a couple of pictures of how thin the crust was - love that it's not just all bread. The flavor was spot on.I was looking around and watched some people eat dessert and again all homemade desserts going to try that next time I go. Sidenote? If you are gluten-free, they have cauliflower crusted flatbread pizza!

Amazing staff. Food was great. The fried chicken biscuit was delicious. Great selection of drinks!

What a wonderful addition to the area. We visit the Harrisburg location often and how nice is it to have one closer. The beer selection is vast and the something for everyone. As far as food I haven't tired anything I didn't like. The staff always friendly and attentive but not overly, just my style.

First let me say how desperate everyone here is for new place with great food. The service was really good and all about the customer ! However, our server was obviously not feeling well and stated he woke up stuffy. He proceeded to cough and kept catching that cough in his bare hands. He probably should have had gloves and a mask on or maybe stay home. I appreciate the transparency but again not serving the public ! The food was okay but not worth the price. We appreciated it coming out hot, thank you.

1.Outside first appearance was great! Saw it off the main road and loved the outside patio area look and can't wait for it to get warmer so I can sit out there. Couldn't wait to try it.2. When you walk in its seat yourself... (my only critique is I wish the seat yourself sign was more visible and not next to the tv behind the bar but there are 3 entrances so it may be hard.) Also liked that the music was family friendly not just the dirty popular radio songs. TV's are of the food and drink selection which I thoroughly enjoyed!!! Most bar/restaurants now have games on to watch, and/or have the sound for it as the restaurant noise and I hate when you can hear commercials or just people talking when you're trying to eat and visit with friends. I've always grown up having family meals without phones and tv so I love that whoever I go with won't be distracted by a screen.3. Food was excellent! I'm not a beer drinker but they also have other drinks that I can enjoy if I want. We got the nachos, to share (pretty big so if you want it as an appetizer I'd say maybe have 3 or 4 people instead of 2. Chicken sandwich was great as well, I got the SOUP FLIGHT! As a side. Yes you read that correctly. I attached a picture, it comes with mini bite sized cheese scones which were perfectly cooked! Only critique with food is since I got the soup flight as a side I kinda wish the sandwich didn't come on a big plate so it didn't take up so much room on the table. Tried my boyfriend's fries and they were great too.4. A few of the walls were murals done of Charlotte area things which I love seeing in places. 5. All staff was super nice and friendly, you could tell they enjoyed working there.6. Knowing what the space was before they moved here I know it's not too much to work with but I think it looks amazing. You don't get cramped up with tables squished together. It gives you some space to enjoy your meal.I've lived right down the road from where this opened my whole life. Luckily I didn't move far since it only opened 8 weeks ago. This location has been many different businesses, obviously all of them failed. I'm really hoping this one succeeds! All in all... Highly Recommend giving it a try

I realize they just opened but ... very underwhelming Have a server walking around with a dirty kitchen towel hanging her pocket. Doesn't seem to have a high standard for service or food. Yes I spoke to the manager

Good food, but that's about where it stopped. Everyone was nice and all, but the dining area seemed cramped with 4 or 5 dining groups while we were there for lunch. No paper menus, you have to scan a QR code on your phone. Overpriced for what it is, but it was tasty. I'll give it a second try in a bit. ‍

Way overpriced for the food we received. Service was nonexistent. This is after giving them two tries. Won't be a third.

Awesome addition to our area! High quality food and service. Looking forward to Spring time to enjoy the patio in warmer weather.
