Vortex Bottle Shop

Wow!! I am amazed at how great the food was at Vortex. Erin our waitress was AMAZING! She created such a friendly and relaxed environment for us, gave us recommendations, and was very efficient through all of our service. She mentioned their brunch menu being incredible, so I will definitely be returning in a Sunday to enjoy it. I grabbed the Fiery Chicken Pimento Melt with the Street Corn Salad as my side. I highly recommend this dish, and I wish I captured better photos. If only I had known how memorable this meal would be!

I went to the Vortex Bottle Shop for a group outing and we had a great time! The servers were extremely welcoming and so nice! When you go in and get seated, you can simply grab what you want from the cooler and they will come up to you to open up your tab for food and drinks and offer a glass to pour your drink into. I had the Strawberry Fields salad that was really good! I was not a huge fan of the croutons because they were harder than expected, but overall, the salad was delicious and refreshing! I was told they have a pretty good brunch, so I definitely plan on returning for that!I highly recommend this place if you want to hang out with friends, have some good drinks, and a good time!

This is for a very specific foodie. Have you ever had something so good that it made you mad? Yeah, that was me at Vortex Bottle Shop. The back of the house team knows what's going on--EVERYTHING was delicious. (Not pictured: kicking' chicken flatbread). Atmosphere: Vortex is a tap house, bottle shop, and restaurant. 5/5 concept. Please expect a short wait. Staff is low, but friendly. They both had great reccs.Food: 5/5. I have no notes...it was that good. I have full faith in any item on their menu, and I look forward to trying more. From the tapas to entree and dessert, we left completely in awe. (And mad because the meal is over LOL)

This is my favorite restaurant, by far, in Harrisburg. I drove past a few times because I don't drink beer and wasn't sure what a "bottle shop" would serve for food. The menu is large enough to please everyone, but I especially enjoy the shrimp & artichoke dip, burrata antipasto salad (pictured), pimento cheese (pictured), flatbreads, and brunch specialties. Service is friendly and professional.

Our first visit, and we're already big fans! The staff was friendly and attentive, the food exceeded expectations, and their extensive beer and wine selection added to the great visit.Our order included the Lil Dipper, Kickin Chickin flatbread, BBQ chips with ranch, and tomato soup. The homemade chips with ranch and the tomato bisque soup are absolute must-tries and make excellent sides. Honestly, I can't find a single flaw--it was all delicious.Excited to explore more of their menu on our next visit!

Tried Vortex for the first time on a girls night out. Like other reviews have mentioned, the food is delicious, especially for a bottle shop. We had the nachos, shrimp and artichoke dip, caprese salad sandwich with tomato soup, the big dipper sandwich, and a toffee cake dessert. Jake was a fantastic server.

Cool little spot in Harrisburg when you want a good draft and some quality tapas. Cheesy flatbread was yummy and my wings were cooked just right. I recommend the Thai basil sauce. They have lots of local beers to choose from and even some that you can take home with you if you so choose. We will definitely be heading back to Vortex bottle shop soon.

Offline Charlotte took me to Vortex Bottle Shop located in Harrisburg. I tried  the Buffalo Vortex Wings. They do not fry anything. The wings were oven roasted and the were really good. Nice crispy skin and a robust buffalo flavor. I would definitely order wings from here again. I also tried the Blackened Shrimp and Artichoke Dip. It came with toasted slices of crostini. The flavor was boosted by roasted garlic and Parmesan cheese.  I really enjoyed this dish. So Vortex Bottle shop has a variety of wines and beers that you can try. I didn't partake in any bottles,  due to engagements afterwards. From the atmosphere and the food and the great vibe, I will definitely return for a  second experience. Thanks Offline for having this hidden gem on the list! Went on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. It was pretty busy but the staff was very attentive! Nice open floor plan with outdoor seating. I ordered the shrimp dip as an appetizer. I would return on the strength of this alone! It was delicious!! I also had the dipper sandwich and the salad. The salad was light and refreshing. So good! I tasted the sandwich while I was there and it was also good. I will definitely be back!

A little spot in Harrisburg close to the speedway that has a variety of dishes and a huge selection of drinks. I loved that they had a gluten free wrap. They only had the brunch menu when we stopped in on a Sunday so now I wanna go back tot try the regular menu!
