Family owned and run vineyard off the beaten path that is a must-see. We did a tasting for $12 and were able to sample all 9 wines! The owners behind the bar take time to explain each wine and share their story. I enjoy a nice glass of wine but usually pick a sweeter Moscato type wine, but I liked every single one of their wines. Normally, I found dry to tart, but these dry wines had such delicious, crisp flavors, I loved them. My personal favorite was the blackberry wine with Sanctuary a close second. In short, no matter what wine you get, you can't go wrong. This is a beautiful property. You can sit in a rocking chair and look out to the vineyard, the screened in porch, or grab a seat in the tasting room.

This is a fairly new winery. They opened just before COVID hit, which was unfortunate timing, but hopefully, they can do well now that things are back open.We came here after having some BBQ at Jon G's. We had our dog with us, and they invited us all in. They are doing traditional tastings - you can do all the wines, just the dry, or just the sweet. We opted for the sweet wines, which included 5 wines - White Muscadine, Red Muscadine, Blush (blend of the red and white muscadine), Blackberry and Strawberry. All five were great wines. My favorite was the red muscadine, while my husbands was the white. We left with a bottle of each. While we were there, we also had a glass of each of their wine slushies. Both were great. We hung out on the porch for a little bit - this is the first winery that I can recall that has a screened in porch, definitely very lovely on a warmer day! While we were out there, one of the owners came by and mentioned some walks we could take on the property - specifically to their old barn. Which we decided to do. The building, the property, all of it is fantastic.Service was phenomenal. The owner explained the wines - the names behind them, as well as the background of the winery. We spoke with both owners while we were there - learned their favorite NC wineries, while they learned ours. We absolutely loved their support of other NC wineries.

Such a hidden gem in the NC vineyard tour! The stories behind the wine and learning some history while trying new wines was an absolute blast. My favorites were 'old dirt road' and 'share cropper's dream' the muscadine wines were fun to try too! Also they have local honey and cute gifts. They have such cute events planned throughout the year, check them out!
