Vilma's

Driving on a back road - and Vilma's sign screamed authentic Mexican food. I of course banged a u-turn and had to check it out. We ordered the taco combo with rice and beans. It was delicious!! The homemade sauces were also delicious. The girl who waited on me was super friendly. Love the food truck setup with picnic tables and seating outside. Great roadside eatery. Well done Vilma!!

What a cute little roadside place!Cash only!!! You can phone ahead with about 20 minute lead time.The refried beans are the best I have ever had. They're flavorful and somewhat spicy; a good spice that hits nicely in the back of the palate. I usually get the ACP. The rice is soft and flavorful in its own. The chicken is seasoned well and isn't overly salty. The best part, the cheese dip, is a flavorful, creamy treat. It's a HUGE portion of food, and if I had to estimate, about two pounds worth. No matter what I order, I always have leftovers for one large meal or two smaller meals.The employees inside are very friendly and helpful. They're a pleasure to interact with. There are a few picnic tables to eat at. Since everything is packed "to go," be sure to ask for utensils if you're like me and plan to eat in your vehicle.

The BEST Mexican food around. The menu isn't huge, but she has all the staples and it is extraordinary! An excellent place to stop on the way home from a long day out on the lake. They are open Wednesday~Saturday 11am to 7p. It is located on the side of 109 and has outdoor seating only. However, the seating area is covered.

If your in the Denton NC area and want some good Mexican stop by Vilma's on 109 just out of town.Vilma's is a food trailer.They grow a lot of their own veggies to go in their food.There are a few picnic tables under a carport.But most get theirs To go.If you live close or heading I would suggest to call ahead.Their not open on Sunday.Enchiladas,Taco plates,Fajitas,Taco Supreme.The list goes on.Vilma's makes a good salsa to go with their food.Like most they offer chicken,steak or beef.Their winter and summer hours change so I would call or check out their website.My choice is their ACP or Tacos.Its always a toss up.Drinks or bottle water is in a box just beside the food trailer.This is a cash only place.You will not be disappointed.

Very good meals and personable service. We are local so we get to go there any time we want. We love the food they prepare, the portions are generous and the preparations are well done. My wife and I split an ACP and I usually get a side of refried beans. That's my favorite side whenever I eat Mexican food, and hers are the best.

The best you can get out of a food truck great place nice people good food. As quick and easy no frills just good food from good people in a local town.

Lived in Az for long time...I make Real Mexican...this place isn't anything to write home about

We had to head to Denton for a COVID vaccine and found this place. It was simply wonderful. We ordered the enchiladas and they were EXCELLENT! I had the chicken with green. The green sauce was very tasty and had just a touch of heat. My girlfriend had the beef with red. She said they were excellent with a good amount of heat. It is a bit of a trip for us, but we will definitely go again!
