Village Juice and Kitchen, located inside Optimist Hall, is a great spot for healthy juices. I tried two of their offerings -- Eternal Sunshine, a defense booster, and Feisty Rabbit, an energy booster. Both were very good and refreshing. Eternal Sunshine had a vibrant, invigorating taste while Feisty Rabbit provided the perfect energy lift with its delightful blend of flavors. This establishment is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious and healthy drinks!YUM

This is a great healthy option at Optimist Hall. Their menu is clearly labeled for dietary restrictions like gluten free, vegan, etc, which I appreciated. There's a variety of açaí bowls, grain bowls, and cold pressed juices. My only qualm is the prices here. A grain bowl + a cold pressed juice being ~$30 is wild. I had the Southwest bowl and added chicken. It featured rice, salad mix, black beans, corn, cilantro, avocado and mango salsa. The bowl was large and I loved the mango salsa, but otherwise it was somewhat bland. I felt the sauce and/or chicken needed more seasoning to really elevate it. But it was hardy and I was just happy to find a gluten free option at Optimist Hall!

Had several choices to eat but decided on the Village Juice and Kitchen. The Acai bowl caught my eye. I placed my order. It took about 10 minutes before they called my name. I like that they asked for my phone number because they also texted me to tell me my food was ready. Perfect! The Acai bowl was good. I thought it was a bit soupy but it's a preference. It is all dependent on how you like your Acai. The size was small for the cost of the bowl at $14.73.

I'm glad that there is a clean and fresh food option at Optimist Hall. Not that the other restaurants are bad, but I definitely was in the mood for a fresh salad and so I ordered the Farmer's Daughter bowl. It had chicken, almonds, apples, and sweet potato over kale and spinach with a balsamic dijon and roasted carrot vinaigrette. All the flavors came together really well, and the ingredients were all fresh and tasty. The other salads sounded good, so if I'm ever in a salad mood again at Optimist Hall, I'll be back to try something else at Village Juice and Kitchen.

I've ordered smoothies, an açaí bowl, and avocado toast from here on a few occasions, through DoorDash. The avocado toast is really fresh, and I like that they have an option to use either their seasoned avocado spread or actual fresh avocado slices (or both). They also have a wide variety of add-ins for their smoothies and bowls, which is nice if you're someone that likes to switch things up or try new things. I also like that everything is packaged very securely and travels well.

Different days means different policy here.Today the girl at the register refused to make my order ahead of time after I called. When I arrived and paid she couldn't give me a time estimate. Since this place is so ridiculously slow this seems silly. There is a reason this booth is always empty. It takes 20 minutes to make an egg wrap. She continues to call out door dashers that weren't there but missed the boat on my order. I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for a smoothie.

Stopped by during a visit at Optimus Hall. The cashier recommended the Sunset Smoothie as it is a very popular option. The smoothie tasted pretty good. It definitely has less sugar than some of the large chains. The customer service was great. My only complaint is the cost. It was a little expensive for the size.

Sorry, but no. It's so easy to make good smoothies. So easy! There is no excuse to charge 9 DOLLARS for a tiny smoothie that tastes like it was made with 95% overripe bananas. Coconut? Pineapple? Mango? Lime? No trace, and I mean NO trace - and pineapple in particular is not something that's good at hiding. I think this place succeeds because there are so many food stands surrounding it that make oily and salty food (not knocking it, oily and salty is great) and people need something refreshing. I'd skip it.
