Excellent park with something to do for the whole family. I jog here. I have seen people grilling and enjoying their families here. Just a a great environment to enjoy sometime outdoors.

Great park! Family friendly and super clean. Playgrounds for little ones and for older kids. Basketball courts, disc golf, soccer fields, volleyball, covered picnic areas, turtles and I'm sure I've missed somethings. My family has enjoyed walking the trails almost daily. We feel safe and we will continue to enjoy this park.

I find this a very scenic and relaxing park to walk in the summer, there are swings and benches throughout the park. There are paved and unpaved, dirt and gravel roads, a wonderful place for and early walk or a scenic afternoon bike ride.

Operated by Cabarrus County in partnership with the City of Concord and the Church of God Children's Home, this 90-acre park is still in development. Today, it features playgrounds, picnic shelters, a volleyball court, basketball courts, swing sets and a nine-hold disc gold course plus bocce courts and a wetlands trail.Coming soon, tennis courts, mountain bike trails more disc golf and more trails. I really enjoyed spending time here. It's quiet and peaceful and the walk on the trails (still open despite the pandemic) was lovely. It's a large park so follow the signs to your eventual destination.[Review 13161 overall, 478 of 2020.]

We're always looking for parks near where we get takeout to eat at these days. This was our choice once after getting food in Concord. It's a nice little park with a pond at it. There is a picnic shelter with quite a few tables. It was a bit crowded when we were there, so we used the folding table we keep in our trunk instead. If you're looking for a place to eat your takeout too or just a place to relax for a bit, this is a good spot.

My family loves this park. It has great walking/biking trails with several workout stops and benches along the way. There's a couple basketball courts, horseshoe courts, and even shuffleboard. There are two playgrounds, one for smaller kids and for older kids. The pond is beautiful and you can feed the ducks (apparently bread is bad for them, but you can buy feed on the dock so bring quarters). Green space is plentiful so bring footballs, frisbees, etc. The park also has a little dog park area tucked away along the path. There is also plenty of parking so hosting an event at one of the shelters would be great.

I have been visiting this park for quite some time, probably over a decade. It used to be called North Cabarrus Park before it became Vietnam Veterans Park. One of the better parks in the area as far as amenities goes. It has a half disc golf course (nine holes), two running trails (one that doubles as a body weight fitness course), several open fields, two playgrounds, basketball courts, a pond, several shelters filled with picnic tables, clean bathroom facilities and ample parking. If you ever feel the need to go spend an afternoon in the beautiful spring weather or simply go for a walk and look at the birds, this is a great destination.

Vietnam Veterans Park is a clean park with a playground and basketball goals. There's a duck pond, with lots of turtles and mallard ducks. Irish Buffalo Creek the runs along the back side of the park. With the park's open fields, it's a great place to go to fly kites and play Frisbee. Or go to enjoy the day and walk an easy trail. I've seen that there are two places, where when it rains, the water covers the trail. The park gets kind of swampy in the middle after heavy rains. It's a great place to take pictures, even so. Using the outer trail, you can avoid this section.

Very nice park great amenities and nice walking trails. I did not see a map for the trails. I was a little uncertain where and how far we were walking.
