Verb Coffee

Tried this place for the first time today and will definitely be back! I had the red velvet latte which, I was hesitant about because I don't like sweet. Much to my surprise it was perfect. Not too sweet and no added sugars or dyes. I also had the breakfast burrito which was WAY better than anticipated! They make them in house fresh with perfectly cooked thick cut bacon. 10/10! The vibe was also great as was the service. The only downfall they have is access is a little wonky but worth it!

We love trying new coffee places and supporting small businesses so we were excited to try Verb.Sadly, it was very disappointing. Waiting too long can happen anywhere, as it did here, but they made us wait after telling us: "We don't have cream just milks, we don't have whipped cream, we only have one size option..."$16 for 3 very small drinks, one of which was made incorrectly. There was no menu posted just a piece of paper sitting by the order computer area. We don't intend to come back.

Came here on a recommendation from a coworker, since I'm out of town, and it couldn't have been better! I needed a chill spot to work, and this was great! The girl who took my order answered all my (really dumb) questions very nicely, and was very customer service-oriented. I ordered a tea because it was afternoon and I'm an old man, and it was still really good! Definitely will need to come back!

Reasonable prices and a relaxed vibe with great service. Can't ask for more than that from a coffee shop. I would highly recommend coming here over the Starbucks just down the road. I had an ice latte and a BEC sandwich. The friendly folks behind the counter even brought both items to my table where I sat down to work for a couple hours. The BEC was simple yet tasty and filling, and the coffee was a good balance of cold milk and espresso.

So the shop itself was very quaint and welcoming. However, it is not in the greatest location and the parking lot could use an update. They offer a couple couches and several 2-person tables. I must say the chairs were pretty comfortable The staff was small but friendly. This shop is family friendly. I was very happy to learn that this is one of the few coffee shops that serves actual breakfast foods (more than pastries). It took a while to get our drink and food orders. I tried the classic vanilla Chai Tea and the Basic Sweet Waffle. Both were pretty good, but not exactly special. Also the waffle was much smaller than I expected.

My wife loves coffee and trying new coffee shops. So we checked out this place as she normally passes it on her way to work. While you can easily see it from the road, it does take a few turns through a little neighborhood to reach it. Yet, there is plenty of parking once ypu get there. The actually shop is not big as you have about six little seating areas including two couches. They do offer three more seating areas outside. While I'm not a big coffee person, I do love apple cider and they had an apple cider Chai on the menu. It was very good. I also order the eggs and hash. It was a bit on the small size yet good. Make sure to tell them how you want your eggs as they come over easy. It's a good local shop if you are in the area.

Wow I finally found my "trifecta" coffee spot close to where I live! I've been on the hunt for the best coffee spot near my house since I moved here a few months ago. I've visited probably 10 or so coffee shops all around concord, kannapolis, charlotte, etc. The trifecta for me is: amazing coffee, cute atmosphere, plus some yummy breakfast/brunch items. Coffee My latte was amazing this morning! I tried the seasonal winter latte that had mocha and mint. It was a perfectly executed latte with all the right amounts of expresso flavor, milk and sweet/flavor. Atmosphere It looks a little unassuming from the outside because of the location but inside it is very cute!! Modern, clean, cute and bright. Food I was pleasantly surprised by the food menu. They have waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bowls and a seasonal burrito. They also had a few bakery items as well. I tried the egg and hash bowl and my kids chowed it down so fast, I barely got a few bites in! Ha! It was simple yet delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other food items. They make everything in house which speaks to the quality. Syrups, food and they roast their own coffee beans. Their staff was also very nice and friendly. 5 stars from me!

The barista was very insightful and helpful when picking out a flavor. Have never been here this was our first time. It was very clean and even though it was on a rainy day it's large windows which I'm sure make sunny days a nice time sitting inside. I also loved how since we were staying to enjoy the coffee we were served in real mugs not Togo cups. But they had that option if you wanted to take your coffee to go. Will definitely be coming here again.
