Vault and Vator easily has some of the best drinks in town. They're all mixologists and clearly enjoy crafting drinks for fun. Plus they offer "bartenders choice", where you give them flavors you like, or anything to go off really, and they make you a completely custom drink.The service is always solid, though it can get a little slow when they're really busy. Off nights are great for dates, or more intimate gatherings. The bartenders are fun and knowledgeable and the wait staff add to the speak easy vibe.The ambiance is also excellent; the dim vintage style lights, the brick underground, and the velvet drapes give it a cozy speak easy feel.Highly recommended!

This hidden gem serves up mouthwatering concoctions in a seductive lounge-like setting. Expert mixologists use a rainbow of fresh ingredients & delightful garnishes in their delicious renditions of old favorites and original taste teasers. The muted lighting, indulgent textures, cozy booths & centerpiece bar are a welcome break from the typical. Watching them craft the drinks is half the fun, but sipping them is even better. Great place to begin or end the night, have a romantic toast, get into a deep conversation, flirt shamelessly, or sip an amazing cocktail.

Good cocktails - not as extensive of a list as I expected though and they were out of some things when we went. It's supposed to be the speakeasy style but it's more just a cozy and quaint bar vibe with a vintage feel. The main thing that makes it feel like speakeasy is that the entrance is in the back and hard to find. Apps options were limited. Not the BEST cocktail bar especially around downtown but definitely good for a couple drinks!!

What a vibe... so cool. Great tunes.. jazzy chill. We enjoyed the paper plane cocktails first and then went up a notch to the V&V dealer's choice. You pick 2 experiences .. I chose fruit and fizzy.. received a delicious old Cuban cocktail variation topped with Prosecco that was strawberry so not so sweet. Perfect! Loved it!! My husband chose smoky and boozy... wow- that was an experience... tasted like my fave cocktail, a Manhattan but wicked light. Thank you, Alexis!!!!! And I wish I got the other bartender's name who made the great paper plane cocktails. The Edgar Allan Poe bathroom ... love it!!!! Thank you V&V for making me want to move here. Cheers!!!

WHAT A FUN, UNIQUE PLACE!! We enjoyed our visit to this hidden speakeasy so much that we've decided to make it a regular stop before dinner any time we're in Greenville. Three of us ordered Dealer's Choice-you choose two adjectives to describe your drink and give the bartender freedom to be creative. We were amazed at what actually came out- & it's different every time!! So fun!!! We also loved that it was a little hard to find & seemed closed until we opened the door. And the ambiance was perfect! They were not playing music so loudly that we couldn't talk to each other.

Carson was our mixologist and we had the best experience! It was our first visit to Vault & Vator and now we are excited to gather more friends for another night out! Thank you Carson and Vault & Vator!

This was my first time going. It does give off a speakeasy vibe, it's around back and if there wasn't a visible doorman I don't know if I would have known it was even a bar. The doorman that night was Kenny, he was lovely, I love making conversations with people and he was funny and enjoyable. I screamed his name on the way out and probably terrified him, lol but I love him will go back to chat with him for sure.The drinks were incredible!!! We did the dealer's choice because why not have a little fun, right? I did fruity and herbal, no idea what was in it but I loved it. My friend did fruity and sweet, which was also very very good. This place is definitely low key and chill, they monitor the crowd well so you won't be let in if there aren't seats available. You won't find any riff-raff, we did go early but it was a very calm/relaxed vibe, there was a line quite long when we got out, which Kenny was handling well as people waited for an open seat. I will be going back! I can't wait for my next dealer's choice to see what I get.If y'all go on a Friday or Saturday say hi to my boy Kenny at the door :)

Had a great time. I cannot speak to the food as I did not order any, but the mocktail I had was wonderful. Cool relaxed vibes and service was attentive without being suffocating. I will be back!

Have been to various speakeasy's in the past. This one was a miss for us. It was musty and damp, and the server was very strange. We ended up decided to leave after waiting for 10+ minutes for the server to return to take our order.
