Great place to stop during my shopping day to grab a cup of coffee and a crumpet!! The shopping is fun to do there too.

I never visit Troy without stopping in for a coffee. I love all the adorable gifts, and staff are always so happy to show me new things they've gotten in that I might like.

Shocked to see I never finished my review of this amazing coffee shop in 2018 so here it is in 2021: FREAKING AWESOME, DELICIOUS, & BOMB DIGITY! Aside from the great coffee, the atmosphere can't be outdone and the people that work here/come in here are incredible! We stop in everytime we are close by the area. Keep up the great work Dana!

Unfortunately the staff don't wear masks. They don't enforce the customers to wear masks. Everything is served w disposable cutlery, cups, etc so they generate a fair amount of single use & plastic waste. (There isn't an option to have real cutlery and coffee mugs)Won't be going back until covid is taken seriously and they have non-single use waste options.

I got the best coffee here and has a nice nutty aroma to it. And flavor is crazy good. Fruit smoothies are insane. And even the sandwiches are hard to die for. That only used boar's Head meat company which is the best

I thought I would try this shop/restaurant because I travel around North Carolina for work and enjoy finding local restaurants. This coffee shop/restaurant looked interesting so I decided to go for lunch. First, I stood in line for 15 minutes to order my lunch. But the worst part was I waited 45 minutes for a chicken salad croissant. I finally went to the counter and asked if I had not heard my name. When my food arrived, it wasn't exactly what I ordered but I was able to switch part of my food with the person I was with. The chicken salad croissant would not have taken 4 minutes to get assembled. The food the other person ordered would not have taken but about 10 minutes to prepare. Needless to say I was disappointed with the service. The food was ok but rather pricey. We spent $30 on one chicken salad croissant, one quesadilla, a tip and two teas!

I would highly recommend Uwharrie Mercantile.They are Closed on Mondays!I have been twice in the last 30 days, enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich & the homemade Chicken Salad on a croissant w/ L&T + bacon, side of Pasta Salad. Everything has been delicious. The grill cuts off @ 2pm, so better get their early for lunch. After 2pm, can still pick up fresh pastries, drinks, etc. Within the last week or two, they have opened a Market in the 3rd room from the entrance.They have locally grown frozen meats(sealed) w/ the names that raised the products, from HB to Steaks, Sausages. Also refrigerated fresh homemade Chicken Salad(w/ no onions), Pimento Cheese, Soups in pint containers. Phillips Country Ham pre-packaged, several different casseroles, ready to take home.You should definitely go try. Looking forward to trying the HB, NY Strip Steaks, Pimento Cheese, & Tomato Basil Soup.

The food is always delicious. It's a surprising and, yet not that surprising, of a wonderful place in Troy. First time I went there was on a visit to the area and I was not expecting such deliciousness. And I have been back several times since, since I have moved to the area. Well worth a visit.
