THIS is barbecue. The best kind. Was first introduced at a multiple course meal where their dish stole the show and now just had the pleasure of visiting their food truck. Service was friendly and quick. Value was insane! I loved that I could order a tortilla with the barbacoa, but I love even more that they have such a variety of dishes to really please anyone and everyone who might want bbq!

The brisket was really good. Seasoned well, juicy, buttery. I tried a friend's rib and that was bomb, I liked that a little more. So while I recommend the brisket, I'm going with the rib next time. The Poblano Mac was OK, it was pretty dry though. There wasn't a whole lot of cheese IMO, but if you're not into excess cheese, then definitely order it! I'd probably opt out of that the next time unless they bring out their yellow Mac.

This spot is a food truck, the carnitas here are banging. I would recommend coming back here, the service is on point as well. The gentleman came and delivered my carnitas to me. Overall great experience, will come back here again.

Wow. I can only assume there aren't more reviews of this place because it's new-ish and is a food truck. If you're one of those people that complains that Charlotte doesn't have good BBQ you can stop. Everything was great but I'll go from top to bottom:1. Barbacoa sandwich - If this is on the menu or some other form of barbacoa is on the menu, it's a must order. I love barbacoa and have had it from a bunch of places and I've NEVER had barbacoa that was this tender. So flavorful and the sauce they added was excellent too. I can't think of a better tasting sandwich in Charlotte.2. Brisket - VERY good. You get 2 big slices with an order. I was kicking myself for not asking for "mixed" or just telling them I prefer the fattier cuts but they gave me one from the point and one from the flat, which was perfect. Really tender and properly seasoned. Better than any brisket in Charlotte proper and I'd probably have then 2nd only to Jon G's in NC.3. Pork Belly Burnt ends - These are where you can taste the Tex-Mex come into play. There is a really nice flavor the marinade they use on these that adds some Mexican flair.4. Mac n Cheese - You can tell from the photo that it has some bread crumbs on the top and looks great. I will say it probably does look better visually than it ended up tasting, but it was still really good. BBQ spots often view sides as an afterthought and that's not the case here.Overall great food. Guys working the truck seemed really nice, too. I'll definitely be back to try more. I should also say that I can typically eat a lot and I have at least a meal worth of leftovers so the portions are solid as well. I'd love to see these guys open a brick and mortar somewhere.
