Come here all the time and the sushi is always great! Super flavorful and fun. Pretty setup on the inside and the sushi is served nicely as well. Service is friendly and quick. I typically order the dumplings and shrimp tempura that is pretty good as well.

I had no expectations going into this weird little building in Matthews, but I'm so glad I did. The ambience was really nice, the service was great, and the food was solid. A lot of their sushi rolls are fried, which isn't my preferred style, but I managed to find an option that wasn't (there were a lot of choices), and we got the shumai for an appetizer. As a Matthews resident I will definitely go back.

I'm sorry but the food was not good at all. I ordered a fried Philadelphia roll. I can tell the oil it was fried in was old. Nothing tasted fresh. My date ordered habachi chicken and shrimp it was bland. With the high reviews I was hoping for a new sushi spot but this just didn't cut it.Service was fine, no complaints there. I would also recommend wiping down the soy sauce bottles on the table they felt sticky.

Tucked away close to Downtown Matthews: good location with plenty of parking! The staff is very welcoming! Went in a weeknight, so they weren't very busy. Food came out pretty fast. The food looked beautiful. Menu is quite large and it makes it difficult to pick what to order. Ordered a couple of sushi rolls, all very good! Hibachi was just okay. Nothing stood out for flavor - wise with the hibachi. Would probably stick to the sushi next time.

The portions are great too.I got the chicken and shrimp hibachi and it was very tasty and fresh.The service is also great and everyone is so attentive and kind.
