Not sure if it's new owners or if they just hired new people but the vibe was a little off tonight compared to other times I've been. Cook was friendly tho and I got my order in less than 15min which was earlier than I was told . Sushi was delicious

I searched high and low for dinner on Uber Eats. My mind was set on having delivery. I stumbled upon Tunott Asia Cuisine & Sushi House restaurant. I absolutely love Thai and Vietnamese food, and this seemed like a new restaurant that I needed to try.I ordered a spider roll, green curry shrimp, and a side of kimchi. I picked my order up and took it home to eat. I started with the spider roll sushi. I know that wasabi is not real anymore, but this fake wasabi was not even that spicy. They only gave me a little bit as well which was disappointing. Also, I could have used more ginger. I was also missing the end pieces of the spider roll. All in all, the spider in all was just ok. It didn't seem fresh.I tried the kimchi next. I absolutely love kimchi and this kimchi did not disappoint. I was happy with the taste of it.Finally, I tried the green curry (shrimp). I love that they give you a lot of basil leaves. I was not happy with the baby shrimp given; however. My ratings:Spider Roll - 3Kimchi - 5Green curry (shrimp) - 3.5Averages out to a 3.83 (4 stars).I would try Tunott Asia Cuisine & Sushi House restaurant again and try some of their other menu items. I do recommend this restaurant for cheap Thai and Vietnamese food in the Kannapolis area.

"Fine" pad thai. Ive noticed soooo many "Asian restaurants" in NC are multiple interpretations of Asian food, and try to cover all of Asian instead of just once specific region... they have Pad Thai (Thailand), sushi (OG from Laos/Cambodia/Thailand), ramen (China) , pho (Vietnam), kimchi fried rice (Korea), etc. I feel like this place is trying to cover so many bases, theyre spreading themselves thin and the quality/taste of the dishes fall short. Dont waste your time trying to call ahead for a pick up order, the restaurant wont answer - just place it online to guarantee youll get your order in. Which is disheartening because when you'll go to pick up your meal, youll walk into an empty restaurant and wonder why they weren't able to answer the phone? Ive tried the sushi a few different times and have had better sushi from Publix.. Pad Thai is dry, but a plentiful serving. This place is pretty decent for Kannapolis, but in the overall big picture, just considered edible

Great service. Overall clean. Outdated decor, but they added a few items (chandelier, wall art) to liven up the ambiance. The crab wonton was okay. I could taste some real crab and fresh onion in there. The honey chicken was pretty good. White meat chicken breaded and fried nicely with a semi thick honey sauce. Drunken noodle was also worth buying. Tastes fresh with plenty of flavor and the portion was great. According to the hubby, the wings were a 10/10. Good and spicy. Not too breaded. Nicely fried. Right amount of sauce. The sushi was not worth buying. The rice tastes mushy and not seasoned. The crab salad in the spider roll was actually just kani. Bland. Diet Coke was flat. Sprite was better. Overall, we would come back and try some of their other noodle and Chinese and Thai inspired dishes. Circling back to the service, they were very nice and attentive.

I gave this restaurant another shot and ordered the Singapore noodles through a delivery service. This was a big improvement over the drunken noodles I ordered last time. They were flavorful, had a good amount of protein (tofu), and plenty of veggies. I would order it again and look forward to trying other dishes.

This is an absolute GEM! Right in little Kannapolis, NC! Since discovering this place three weeks ago, I have gotten food every week from them! I've had several things off the menu and everything I have ordered has been delicious but my absolute favorite is the spicy noodle dish. Burmese food is hard to find- I think it is some of the most flavorful food in the world and this place does it right- you will not be disappointed coming here!

Stopped in for some takeout after reading a review. Hole in the wall - I don't remember whether the interior would make for a good eat-in experience. Menu is pretty simple with dishes from several regions of Asia. The spice in a lot of the dishes is more than I usually prefer but the flavors are really interesting and the heat is perfectly matched with the ingredients/flavor profile. If you like steamed dumplings, their dumpling soup broth is complex and spicy and there are a ton of dumplings with a nice meat filling. I also got a Burmese stewed meat and rice dish - yum.

The drunken noodles were dry and not the wide drunken noodles but more like pad Thai noodles and the tofu was dried out too. Hard pass
