Tsunami Japanese Sushi Bar and Grill

We called to make a Friday night reservation. Although the restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside, the reservation helped and we were seated pretty fast. We started with drinks and a few apps. The service was so quick, I was impressed! They have a variety of cocktails, wine and beer. We started with tuna tataki, crab wontons, and pork gyoza. The wontons had a good portion of crab and the sauce with the tataki was drool worthy. Definitely recommend. Their sushi menu is pretty large, but a lot of the specialty rolls have cream cheese, so we struggled to find lighter options. The A I roll was my favorite, although we enjoyed everything we tried.

I came here for a ladies night out dinner with my mother-in-law and my best friend. I need to say something and I need to say it now before I say anything else. This is the first place I ever tried baked mussels back in 2004 (I believe), soon after they first opened and everywhere else I have tried baked mussels just doesn't compare! So, I ordered some baked mussels after going almost 20 years without them and they are STILL truly the BEST baked mussels I've ever had. Now, the other sushi rolls we ordered were also very good. The miso soup tasted like average miso soup. They were not anything out of the ordinary when it comes to ordering "specialty sushi rolls," but they were all prepared well. The service we received was top notch! I actually enjoyed our experience here mostly because she took such great care of our table. Even when my mother-in-law was being a little difficult about the coldness of her Michelob Ultra bottle, she maintained her composure and respect, as I quickly recommended she bring a cold glass to satisfy my mother-in-law. She always came to our table with a smile and was very polite and attentive. The ambiance here is perfect for any kind of night out. There is a lot of modern decor everywhere and it feels great as soon as you walk in. The whole place was very clean and well maintained.

My favorite sushi spot for 10+ years! You can never go wrong here! Fresh sushi, super nice wait staff and the drinks are made to match the price! 10 out of 10 I'd always recommend!!

The people are amazing! The food is great and if you're lucky and time it right, you can get their spicy Raman. Perfect for the cold days

Came by this place to grab some sushi with friends and it did not disappoint! To start off, I got some fried spring rolls which were a bit pricey at $8 for 2 rolls. I also got the shrimp tempura rolls and California rolls and some chicken friend rice. The spring rolls were tasty, but not worth it for the price. However the sushi was amazing and I absolutely loved the shrimp tempura rolls. The fried rice was also really good and enough to share with a friend. Overall, our waiter was really nice and checked on our group frequently and the food came out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend it for the price and taste!

I love Tsunami is one of my favorite sushi spots in Greenville! I love the variety of rolls, and it seems like every roll you order is amazing. The service is always good, and it's doesn't normally have a long wait except for weekend nights. Also, the pricing is super reasonable, and doesn't break your bank- my two specialty rolls were $20!

$24 for 8pc nigiri, 1 roll, and a soup/salad that are all outstanding.. you literally can't find anything this good that is even remotely close to being in same price range..

Ok, the rest of our party said their food was good but mine was not. The filet hibachi was horribly over cooked . Small portions. The crab salad was good tho. I won't get the same if I go back.

The food was amazing! My service not so much... we dined there last night for my sweet nieces birthday and she cried a few times because the waitress was so rude! I'm not happy at all about that. We are very kind m, not difficult at all. The atmosphere would have been even better if the waitress wasn't rude to us because we didn't look like her...

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The service is one of the best in Greenville. I basically live in Greenville, so I've tried a lot of places. This place is really good service and the food, don't even get me started. The food is so delicious and really good. I love going to this place because the sushi is one of the best in upstate South Carolina. The place is very quiet and cute. The music is not loud at all and I just love going here
