Troutman's

I went here this evening with my parents and ordered a barbecue plate. The barbecue was very dry and on the verge of being inedible. The sides were very good. I got cabbage and red slaw. The hush puppies were equally as flavorful. the service took quite some time, though as there was only one waitress in the entire restaurant I don't think I'll go back

This was the first time we've been inside since the renovations. The food was excellent quality! The waitress staff and cashier were very nice and expedient. The place looks amazing with the renovations. They also got new menus. I am posting the menu but forgot to take a picture of the food sorry.

Amazing food! Really great bbq!!!! Love this place!!! Highly recommend! Delicious side options as well!!

Been going here since the original was turned into a craft store. Always loved their breakfast and its been very special to me for my entire life. Sad that covid led them to not be open as much, but the food still tastes great when you can get it.

Troutman's is definitely an institution. My partner-in-dine's family have been coming to Troutman's all their lives. But what makes Troutman's an oasis is its dependability. You can always rely on their friendly and quick service. You can also be confident that you'll get good food (and in generous portions) every time:Troutman's is full of locals and that, in my opinion, is an effective gauge of an establishment's good reputation.

In our lives we all have certain standards of what we expect from an establishment. Whether that be in the food industry, service industry, hotel industry etc. , but when it comes to barbecue Troutman's barbecue in Concord North Carolina has always been my gold standard. I was a very young teenager when I last ate at Troutman's s and after 40 years, I can honestly say they have maintained their quality in truly great BBQ. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding customers through their menu items. I had my old favorite the pulled pork plate. A healthy portion of tender Hickory smoked pork a side of the best coleslaw you'll ever have and of course those tender nuggets of hush puppies. There are a lot of BBQ places in NC, but this is the real deal you can't stay in business for 51 years and not have a excellent product. If your overwhelmed in choosing BBQ, search no further than Troutman's.

I honest to God thought Troutman's actually cared about their customers until yesterday They forgot my French fries in my $12.79 cent barbecue burnt up plate I bought Wednesday I called five minutes after I got home lady didn't give a that was Troutman's gamut!No apologies she warned me I had just five days to get back to Troutman's I explained that I lived in Midland and traveled pretty good but in order to get there Nahh honestly didn't matter Me and my 77 year old mom got back in my vehicle went back Friday explained the situation Troutman's REFUSED TO TRADE IT FOR A BARBECUE PLATE THAT WASN'T BURNT UP‍In disbelief I had to escort my 77 year old ailing mother out hungry I mean really seriously ?And they say customers always right That was our hard earned money we lost !I mean like it wasn't bad enough to pay $12.79 for one plate of burnt up barbecue but to get disrespected no apologies Treated like after my entire family's been FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS 2 TROUTMANS over 20 years plus ‍That's evil What's worse losing all that I lost my most favorite restaurant in the entire world ‍We left Troutman's in Now I'm going 2 be a asshole like the owner and leave Troutman's for a lifetime.They lost a lot of money yesterday and customers that were loyal for a entire Lifetime...I pray that $12.79 minus the French fries was worth it at the end of the day

Food was great but it was very busy so service was slow. Being retired it is a good place to catch up with friends.

I ate here for the first time on Friday. We had the BBQ and it was fantastic. The customer service here was great too. The lady at cashier was telling me all about this place. She even threw in a container of their dressing and told me to try that with my hush puppies. She said a lot of their customers like to eat it with their hush puppies and she was right. It was very good. We will definitely be going back to this place to eat again!!!!

The very best service, food was WONDERFUL and prices can't be beat! I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!
