Trapped in the Upstate

Awesome experience! Emily was our game master and was excellent! Will definitely be visiting Trapped in the Upstate again!

My friends and I really enjoyed our experience here! They have unique and engaging rooms and stories. I'll definitely be back!

We played the Voodoo Shack with Maddy as our game master. I liked how there was a thematic story and the room and clues were all built to fit in with the theme. Nothing felt out of place. The room was challenging but I had a great time. I would definitely recommend Trapped in the Upstate to you.

So good! We did the Lizzie Borden room rated moderate for my daughters 14th Halloween birthday. Have done a couple before in other states and only had three people but we managed just in time. It was by far our favourite place we've done it. Theme was fun, puzzles were hard but doable, was able to ask for help if needed, and when we were struggling for awhile a little nudge was given without giving too much of a hint. We will definitely be going back for future rooms! Highly recommend it for some birthday fun, activity for friends, family outing etc. Mark was super friendly, professional, and engaging. Snapped a nice family photo at the end and sent it immediately! Props for the photo we're great!

I was looking for an escape room last minute and ran across Trapped in the Upstate. I reached out via text to see if they had any availability. Mark and the trapped team responded quickly and I had our reservation setup within minutes.I arrived with my daughters and their friends (4 13 yr olds and 1 11 yr old) and we were greeted by Mark. Mark explained what we would be doing and the rules to keep everyone safe. He then showed us our room and left us to escape. We opted for the illusionist room and everyone had fun. The room was extremely well maintained and gave us a challenge. We worked through and were able to escape with only a few minutes left.Trapped in the Upstate was great! We were all impressed and can't wait to return soon to complete the other rooms. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

My group had a great time at Trapped in the Upstate. Our hostess, Morgan, was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this activity!

We have tried out several escape rooms in the area and this was one of the best! Emily and Maddy were great hosts! We will definitely be back!

We were in town to visit our daughter and chose this escape room. Mark was great and the room was fun...even for an older Mama like me! Ha! We wanted to go back the next day but ran out of time! Our daughter will definitely take her friends here! Thanks Mark for a great family outing!!
