Thanksgiving. So much better than cooking. It's so amazing!

Townhouse II is an old school hangout that sports a line out the door at peak times. The locals have been coming here for generations to get their fill of southern, country grub. Expect inexpensive, gut busting fare delivered speedily with a few "sugars" and "honeys" thrown in for good measure.I was introduced here 25 years ago by a local who knew where to go. Over the years, it's always the same. Daily blue plates like stew beef-n-gravy over rice, with beans, a bread and sweet tea suggests its focus. If you want gourmet coffee, table clothes, gluten-free or vegan-based choices, well . . . you're SOL. Gravy, eggs, liver mush, hash browns, basic burgers, fried whatever, plus a 10+daily side of vegetables? Townhouse delivers. The owners at Townhouse have answered two critical questions for success in the restaurant business: who butters our bread and what rings the register? I say look for places with a full parking lot, and a long line at the counter. "Give 'em a whirl," and save some pennies, too. Credit cards accepted.

Very good family owned restaurant. Staff is very nice! Clarence, Michelle and Pam are my favorites. They know me by name and know exactly what I want to order. ;- )

Best taste of the south in the area! Will definitely return. Family owned and Family cooked food. First bite of okra reminded me of my grandma and almost made me cry. Just an amazing place for the soul and appetite.

My daughter and I love to come here for home cooked meals with great service. It's an old fashioned restaurant where you always meet a friend or neighbor.

I would give 0 stars if possible. coffee is watered down. plates arrived at table with food slopped on them. food was cold when it arrived. cheese inside the omelette was so overcooked that it was hard. hashbrowns were barely cooked and partially raw. i encourage you to go to the other places where they care about what they serve. this is a waste of your money. wait staff is wonderful, which is the only thing going for this place.

Breakfast food is good and prices are great! The staff is very friendly. The inside is dated and could use some upgrades but it's definitely worth visiting!

People in Kannapolis like this place, it gets regular customers. Variety in menu, it's mostly what you'd think of in a Southern "home style cooking" place. I got the country style steak = which is the tenderized steak patties you can buy a grocery store. My lucky day ! They had been cooking it low and slow all day and it was delicious !! Gravy was wonderful and I'd definitely get this again. Lots on the menu and some desserts as well. Service was good and friendly. I think I got a pound cake with icing and it was nice. Got to try their breakfast some time. GO ! You won't be sorry.
