This is a no frills spot, but the food is good and you can't beat these prices! I bought a 1/2 pound of carnitas, a 1/2 pound of barbacoa, and 2 packs of fresh corn tortillas (12 total) for about $13. When I tell you I happily ate off of this feast for 4 meals! A steal! And of course, it got better overnight. The meat was so tender, it just needed a touch of salt imo, but once added the depth of flavor sang. A little chopped onion, lime and cilantro and I was a happy camper. Those tortillas are a very noteworthy mention. Fresh tortillas are a game changer and so under appreciated. Now, don't go expecting steakhouse level ambience or service. It's more like a lunch counter type spot, and the English of the staff is limited (or it was during my visit), but they are exceptionally kind and worked with me as I tried to use my shoddy Spanglish to order (I'm gonna practice y'all lol). Also Iykyk - all the other patrons were of the cuisine's culture, and that speaks volumes to the quality of the food and the deal! I'll be back. Hope to see y'all there.

If you ever passed this place and was curious, I'm about to put you all on. This is place where you can buy a delicious array of meats and fresh made tortillas by the pound. For example I get the carnitas which is pork fried to perfection. I get half a pound and a pound of fresh corn tortillas. I can easily get 10 tacos out of it. They also have barbacoa (shredded type beef), chicken and a bunch of other choices to go or eat in. DON'T BE INTIMIDATED! They have the nicest staff. Don't miss adding this gem to your rotation.

Great addition to Eastway Crossing. I spotted the sign a while ago before they opened and once they were able to open up again I need it was my chance. The tables were all put away, so for now it is only take out, fine by me that's what I was planning on anyways. But as I approached the hot bar, I realized I was going to have a BIG problem...which one of these amazing things do I get?! I went in pretty set on barbacoa and all the fixings to make tacos at home for the week....but then I spotted the carnitas...and the sopa de res...and the fried chicken, ribs, stews and they all looked sooo good. I decided on my first visit to keep it simple, albeit excessive, with some carnitas, barbacoa, and a sopa de res ( which comes with rice and tortillas). Top the order off with some of the medium salsa, some queso fresco, and a baggy of chopped cilantro and onions and I was set. I get it home and the tortillas and meats are still warm so I only needed to assemble and they were oh so good. I would have a hard time picking my favorite of the meats. The soup was super flavorful with my ideal level of saltiness. I managed to get 4+ meals out of $20 worth of delicious food. Not bad at all.I am dying to go back and get a plate (choice of protein with 2 sides) and work my way through their entire selection. The girl working was super friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English for those of you nervous about having to crack out your high school Spanish skills. Also for the record it smelled great in there and was spotless. Anyone that mistakes this for a buffet clearly doesn't understand how a buffet works. This place is NOT serve yourself. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This place is definitely a popular fast casual place among some regulars. I drove by on a Sunday by chance, and there was consistently a line inside. There's no menu, and it's take out only. You go down a counter and choose what you'd like, the standard meal seemed to be 1 meat + 2 sides. The meat was extremely tender and had great flavor. The tortillas were to die for, and comes included with the plate (there's like 6 tortillas in each too!) lots of drinks and some salsas in the fridge when you check out. It's nothing fancy inside but the food is mouthwateringly good.

I was leaving the Chef's Store today and saw Tortilleria Elizabeth, I thought what the heck, let's check it out. It is a little storefront, now that I say this, there are tables, they just had them put away because it is carry out only right now. I ordered one barbacoa taco. The lady was very nice, she loaded up my taco, when I went to pay, she forgot lime, so she brought me one. In the refrigerator behind the cash register, it was loaded with different picos and some salsa verde and roja. I saw one with habanero. It looked delicious. I also noticed some whole chickens and fried chicken. You can order meat by the pound and make tacos at home. I can't wait to try more, especially that fried chicken.

My family and I walked into this establishment only to be disgusted by the smell, and the fact that no one greeted us, was the old rotten cherry on top! It seemed to be a buffet style Mexican restaurant. I wasn't pleased at all. The food didn't look appetizing nor did the employees.... their loss...I FREAKIN LOVE MEXICAN FOOD!!!!

This Tortilleria is ran by Latinos who cook authentic Hispanic food. It's conveniently located near plaza and offers sale of fresh corn tortillas by the pound as well as other meats. You can easily buy pounds of whatever meats you want and make your tacos at home and impress your company. I recently moved to the area from Pineville and LOVE this establishment. I've been here plenty of times and would come back again and again. I recommend the "Caldo de Rés" which is sort of an oxtail soup. It has a slight kick but packed with flavour.
