Tony's Pizza

During our two-week stay at a house on the lake, we tried their classic cheese pie--and it was so good, we went back for more!The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the cheese had that salty, gooey deliciousness you dream of, and the sauce was just the right balance of tangy and sweet. I'm shocked Tony's doesn't have a higher rating. I'm here almost every day for a slice. The only place in the Lake Norman area that can compete with Tony's is Brooklyn South (not Brooklyn Boys). But that's pizza, not Italian food, which is a whole other conversation. For pizza, I highly recommend Tony's. The pizza is really good, the people are friendly, there is plenty of space, and the prices are fair. Not to mention the slices are ginormous. An easy recommendation.

Terrible pizza- walked in on a Sunday and ordered two slices and they came out very old. Cheese was not fresh I can simply tell before even eating it. I should have checked the reviews before coming in. How can pizza stores have such low ratings it's so sad!

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and Buffalo chicken wings for pickup and both were very good. I called close to closing but they were very nice when I asked if it's too for the pizza and wings. The wings were delivered with the sauce on the side so they arrived nice and crisp and a good size. The pepperoni pizza was very good and the crust nicely cooked with a little char and crispy which I like. The best NY style pizza I've had so far in the year I've been in Charlotte area.

We just ordered lasagna from Tony's. We ended up throwing it all away. We both agreed that it was the worst we had ever had, and that's saying a lot. The meat is hamburger meat with no seasoning. They flood it with cheese but there is no flavor at all. We have always thought that their pizza was pretty good so we were pretty surprised that is was so bad. It was so bad that I don't think we'll even order their pizza again out of principle.

The sincerity is first of all good customer service, but what it is like to wait 30 minutes and when you get home and see how the pizza is horrible and black.

The quality of their food. The food was badly burn and extremely hard. There were hardly any customers there and was not busy. There was no reason to get the order wrong.

I'll be honest yall...I don't know what the hell happened to this place. Years ago the pizza was truly good and sandwiches were warm and moist. Yesterday I order a 17" and a chicken cheesesteak. The pizza was terrible. Tasted like the cardboard box it was wrapped in and that chicken cheesesteak was so damn dry, if someone is drowning in Lake Norman, just throw one of those bad boys in and the entire lake will get soaked up! What a disappointment. Dang.

Service was not good ordered online @7:00 was told food would be ready @8:00 got there at 8 and didn't get my food until 8:30. Obviously they didn't even start making it until we got there. Won't be back.

I tried Tony's for the first time on Tuesday and got a 15in pizza with extra sauce and a side of garlic knots delivered through DoorDash and I really enjoyed that meal. I ordered a second time today through DoorDash and the pizza was undercooked, so much so that the sauce and cheese were all falling off. DoorDash only refunded me 5$. It's upsetting because the first pizza was really good but this one was horrible.
