Tokyo One Express

They are so nice at Tokyo One Express. The food is always fresh and delicious. I have never had any issues with my food here. Highly recommend.

Hey Everyone, I hate to rush to the point but I just had to mention how horrible my experience was. I ordered the hibachi steak w/ broccoli and to my dismay it seemed like they confused my order with just broccoli and maybe (or less than) 1 ounce of steak. I called to ask if they could correct the order if I brought I back but It was almost impossible to get an answer. Annie who answered the phone told me 4 ounces was the standard and I suggested sending in a picture and she said she would refund me for my meal only to call me back 10-15 minutes later asking for the food to be brought back. Which would've been fine if we hadn't talked for 10 minutes about how she was going to refund me my money. In short, do not come here or even give it a second glance they do not care about what is right and are looking for an easy dollar.

Have been going here since I was a little girl. The food has always been delicious. Prices barely went up during covid. Cheap hibachi and great quality for the price! Moved away for a few years but am now moving back to the area. I was praying that the place was still a hit and oh yes it was! Just as I remembered it, wonderful! We will definitely be stopping by here all of the time for a quick dinner! I have the hibachi steak with mushrooms and my boyfriend had the hibachi steak with broccoli. I recommend the steak as the chicken is a little bland at times. Also the owners are very kind.

3.5 I rounded up. We just moved here and I was so excited to see a Hibachi place in the area! After reading the reviews, I had high expectations. The crab rangoons were over cooked, crunchy and dry. The pink sauce that comes with them was gelatin, like it was actual jello. I thought maybe it had been refrigerated and would thin out as it sat, but it didn't. That was interesting. The steamed pork dumplings were really good. We ordered chicken/shrimp, teryaki chicken, and hibachi chicken. I guess I was expecting the usual onions and zuchinni to accompany the proteins but when you order, you can only choose from broccoli or mushrooms. There is an additional charge for onions/zuchinni. The portion size was a little small for the money. This spot is close to our house, the service was fast and friendly, and our order was correct which is a win in my book. We will probably be back but I can't tell you its the best hibachi I've ever had. Try it and see for yourself!

I must admit that expectations were high after reading all the reviews about the quality and value, but unfortunately it just didn't do it for me at all. Yes, the service was very personable and friendly, and yes the food came out fast, but that's where the positives end for me sorry to say.I found the food to be pricey for what you get, as my chicken and scallops in a standard to go container with some broccoli, sweet carrots and rice came to about $20, which does not scream value at all, but quite the opposite, as it was pricey for the amount of food received, which was the standard portion found in any Chinese based restaurant. I also found the food to quite bland with no flavor outside of being way too salty, and I mean way too salty. I get that the name is Tokyo one express but in my view, this feels like a Chinese restaurant using a Japanese name, as nothing about the establishment says Tokyo to me, outside of the sign in the building.Like I said, I really wanted to like this place, but it did absolutely nothing for me at all, but again the employees were friendly, so at least there's that.

We were looking for hibachi and this place was recommended by a coworker. Hands down best risk I took in 2022. Food was delicious and ready in the time quoted. It was so good we came back two nights in a row. I tried the hibachi chicken and my wife dad the big shrimp. It was ridiculously delicious and the give you a big side of white sauce which is phenomenal. We are huge fans and will definitely be back!!!

I've lived in this area for about 7 years and I can't believe I never came here before. I was look up reviews on yelp for asian food and wanted something different than my go to and I saw this place. Their menu had a good variety of food and the prices were decent. My husband called and the girl that answered was really friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time ordering, we had a few questions. Takeout only took about 15 minutes. I got the hibachi chicken and shrimp. Good portion. The shrimp wasn't overcooked and the chicken was good. The rice was also nice and fluffy. My husband got the chicken hibachi and he was pretty impressed as well. We opted out of the shrimp sauce and got the hot sauce and ginger sauce instead. The hot sauce had a good kick to it and very flavorful and my husband liked the ginger sauce. I'll definitely use this place in rotation!

Nice mom and pop feel. They give really nice portions that taste great! Friendly quick service too.

Solid choice! Had it for the first time tonight. Super sweet carrots. Very tasty!!!!!!!

I hadn't been here in a few years but had a taste for hibachi. The food is consistently good! Same nice owners and store is clean!
