Tokyo Grill

My wife and I went here Friday night for the first time. Bad weather, so we decided to order something to take home. We ordered two spring rolls, an order of Shrimp and Rice and a Shrimp,Steak and rice entree. The spring rolls were rather small, but excellent. Nice and crisp with a great taste - we both said we'd order them again. Both of us loved the entrees. The shrimp was done perfectly...tender and not over cooked. The zucchini and onions in the dish were also great. She said the next time she ordered she'd ask for extra veggies, as they were so good. I felt the same way. The steak was also very tender and great tasting. She generally doesn't order steak at Chinese restaurants...sticks to shrimp or chicken, but she tasted the steak in my dish and said she'd order the shrimp and steak next time.Nice atmosphere. Small place and I thought it may be a carry-out type only place, but they have nice booths and atmosphere. We'll definitely be going back.

Because it had been some time since we had hibachi, and we didn't feel like driving down to our only hibachi spot, we decided to try Tokyo Grill. It had been on the potential list for some time.Went in with lowered expectations, and while it wasn't as good as our other spot, it was passable. My Vegetable Hibachi was wanting. The rich flavors weren't as present as I'd prefer, and there was a severe lack of mushrooms. I also got it with steamed rice (trying to cut down on fried stuff). The sweetie for the chicken and shrimp with the fried-ish rice. She said it was almost as good as our other spot's own, but at the same time she didn't want to finish or save it. She enjoyed the rice, which I tried, and it was good.The kids working the counter were good - didn't rush us and answered the one question we had without any issues. I wish they automatically gave utinsils, but they did give soy sauce quite willingly. They only give one white sauce per order though. One positive is that it's more comfortable to eat in here than our other place, even though we didn't stay. The booths and tables are a decent size.I won't run back here, but will go in a pinch.

Fine alternative for hibachi related takeout when you can't make it to experience the real thing. Will order again!

The prices for food here is really good in my opinion. The chicken however was drowned in teriyaki sauce but still was real dry when biting into it. Rice was really good and seasoned well. It felt as if there was a massive amount of zucchini and onions on the plate and not enough chicken. Overall would return again if the area.

This was my first visit to this Tokyo Grill location. The staff was very friendly and, despite this being a to-go order, it was ready very fast. A couple of the drinks were out (very typical during this time) but there were still plenty of options. I ordered the chicken, shrimp and steak hibachi. The steak and shrimp didn't have much flavor, but the chicken did. The white sauce is really good. This order was enough to feed two people, so it was a good value. I would definitely visit this location again.

Ordered through the app and arranged a pick up time for 8pm-8:15pm. Got a notification that my order was ready at 8 pm and when I arrived they didn't even start my order. I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for my order. The cashier was not pleasant at all. I then asked about my sushi (California roll with added crab meat). I posted a picture so you can see the foolishness, it literally looks like sushi from Publix and she explained the extra crab meat was just a bigger size crab meat inside. I am furious. Nothing was done to satisfy me as a loyal customer and I will not be returning to the Killian Rd. (Roberts Branch) location.

The chicken teriyaki was alright. The rice was bland af I had to put shit ton of yum yum sauce and duck sauce so it could taste good but the chicken was pretty good, I personally wouldn't go back.

A little disappointed in the food today. Shrimp is undercooked and white sauce is watered down. This used to be the best Tokyo grill in town. Stop diluting the sauce.

Food bland, and rice was rice. When you walk in you smell nothing!!!! Asian cuisine has lots of flavor and smells wonderful! Not this place!!!!

They gave me extra white sticky cream. The young bald man called me father when i left and i had to run out of the door but it made me feel appreciated. I have a left ankle dislocation from falling in chicago. I also have a boiler problem?
