We called in an order and when we showed up to pick it up, they didn't have any record of jt. The employee at the counter was rude and did not offer to take my order over again. He just kept asking for the order number which is not any information that I had. I was not given an order number on the phone.Update: my husband called them back and they said they did have the order and it was ready but I was already home. Too bad they couldn't have helped me while I was there.

I'm new to the area and was craving some crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and veggie fried rice so I thought I'd give this place a try. The shrimp sauce (AKA yum yum sauce) is EXCELLENT. The crab Rangoon is a bit too sweet for my liking and the egg rolls are more like spring rolls. The veggie fried rice is DELISH! Lots of large mushroom/broccoli/carrot pieces and the rice is cooked perfectly.

This place has fallen from a monthly staple for our household to a business we won't be visiting again for the foreseeable future. We were happy to find an express Japanese restaurant with quality food when we first moved into the neighborhood and this was the best we'd found since living in Charlotte 10+ years ago. Through COVID they did a great job of keeping you served while having above average practices in place to keep you, your food, and their staff healthy. Because of that we relied on them during those, "I don't feel like cooking" nights through the pandemic. Since then there has been an overall diminishing quality of food, portion size continues to shrink, prices continue to rise, and sanitation scores fall. They no longer leave the condiments, napkins, fortune cookies, etc. out for you to take and now keep them behind the counter. Their takeout pickup process has slowed down considerably from what looks to be a lack of organization and their sanitation grade has fallen to a 91. I'm pretty sure ownership or management has changed at least once over the past few years and you can tell the negative impact it has had on the operations of the restaurant . I know we'll revisit again in the future but not before giving them several months to see if they can sort things back out.

It honestly could have been better. I've been to tastier places that are cheaper than this place. The employees are extremely nice which explains I gave them a 2-stars. When it comes to the food, it was bland (and I don't typically use that word). The fried rice was so salty and made with frozen vegetables, the meat wasn't marinated long enough, and the broccoli was so hard it was like chewing rocks. The only thing good that came out of it was the mushrooms and a nice to-go tupperware you can reuse. It's not worth the price, you can get tastier habachi elsewhere.

Im from California and was craving Asian good and since this was near I decided to try it out. First off Customer Service was not all that great. I told the lady it was my first time and she didn't recommend anything nor tell me how to order. I basically had to order blindly. Next was the food. I ordered Shumai thinking it would be authentic. The girl did tell me it wasn't handmade by them but I got it anyway. Avoid it like the plague. It was nasty and although it was filled with shrimp, it tasted like a woman hadn't showered in months. The smell and taste .We ordered the Steak and Shrimp which came with rice and broccoli. The shrimp was delicious. You get a handful of large shrimp. The steak was dry but it came with a side of Yum Yum sauce so I drowned it to help it wash down. The rice? I would avoid the rice. Please avoid the rice.We also ordered the Chicken Lo Mein which was delicious but VERY greasy. All in all there were a lot of people who ordered to go. I don't get it but maybe they know to order something better than I got. Would I go there again? Only if I was starving and hadn't eaten in a month and everything else was closed.

This is a pretty good place to go if you want some quick Chinese or Japanese food. The portions are plenty and the food taste really good. Service was great.

Hey! There was wasabi on my food. I made a note about the allergy and it's even printed on my receipt. I cannot eat my meal now as it had come in contact with a life threatening allergen. I am very disappointed. I called the store for an opportunity for them to make it up and the overseas agent told me the phone line was out. The manager called me from his personal phone only to tell me hold on and hang up. Never called back. I've eaten here before and the food was decent but the service is terrible as there is no attention to detail and no care for the customer.

I placed an order with a wasabi food allergy. When I picked up my food there was wasabi in the container next to my wife's food. We were in a rush back home so we couldn't stop and make it better because we were already on the highway and stuck in traffic. We called them to notify the mistake as my wife is highly allergic to wasabi!! She tried eating one of the pieces that looked to have never touched to wasabi and immediately broke out in a reaction with itch throat and rashy skin... when we finally got through the phone with a manager after having to ask profusely to finally get the help we needed. He said I'll look into your order and never called us back. I will never go here because they don't take food allergies serious and can seriously hurt or kill someone!!
