Tinder Box

Tinder Box is a great place with a convenient location.Stopped by this location after dropping off a rental at CLT. This store is a short drive away. I walked in and was greeted by an employee with a smile. He told me he wouldn't crowd me but was available if I had any questions. I'm accustomed to the way stores are run in Cali, where employees follow you around due to thefts being on the rise and many places closing.I made my way into the humidor and found they have a huge selection of mid to top-tier premium cigars and I could have spent hours in this one! As I perused the selection the employee came in to check stock and restock anything that needed it. He was immediately available to answer a couple of questions I had and met me at the register to bag up my selections that were fairly priced.I will definitely return to this location any time I am in the area.

Davidoff I feel like I don't need to much else. But I will. They have a smoking room so you can enjoy your stogie asap. Prices are competitive and the selection is outstanding. Their only real competition are their other locations. It's that serious. There are several smoking clubs in Charlotte, but they don't offer the same array of cigars for sale. Tinder stands alone...

This was my first visit, first time at cigar shop in a parking garage. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of cigars and the carried All Saints Cigars. My got to stick. These days. Can't wait to return to Charlotte, NC so I can actually use the lounge.

The staff is really helpful here and a great safe environment. I love the location because when my wife is shopping I can come here and forget about the money she is spending...OH THEY HAVE EVERYTHING

Nice cigar selection but the smoking area is kind of claustrophobic. The cigar selection is more than adequate, the prices competitive and the staff friendly and very helpful.

It's a cool shop that is in the mall, but not where all of the stores are. Parking is good because it's a mall. The hours are a bit to be desired. I assume it's Covid related. Their walk in humidor has a good selection of the big brands and lesser known sticks. The have a smoking area with about 10-12 seats. Staff is very pleasant.

Since moving to Charlotte in early 2011, Tinder Box has become my number one stop for good cigars. They have a huge well kept humidor room, helpful staff, and most important some really great cigars.One of my favorite things about this place is that every employee seems to be a seasoned cigar smoker. They are rather friendly, and verily astute regarding their products. If you have a friend or loved one whom is a cigar smoker and you, yourself are not, these folks can help you.The prices are on par. Again, the selection is extensive. The only thing I don't really like about it is the location. It is in the basement of the South Park mall, hence, it can be hectic finding a place to park sometimes.I have been smoking cigars for a couple years and have been to a lot of cigar shops in a lot of cities. Some with better selections. Many with better parking, but rarely any with collective experience and helpfulness of the folks at tinderbox.

Always an interesting experience. I am not a regular cigar smoker. Maybe once or twice a year. However, I always learn a little upon each visit.

Went on a hunt for better cigars than what my local shop has to offer and found this little gem. Not much of a stretch to call it a gem since I found myself going subterranean..not the easiest place to find but with the search. I was fairly surprised to see this location had a bit more than I had expected. Everything from your basics to things with much fancier price tags. Definitely a fabulous selection. Also, their employee Char(Shar?) was an absolute delight. More than happy to show my friend and i around and made several suggestions that I'm very happy with. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. This location is certainly worth checking out if you're in the area. If you're a regular cigar smoker then expect to find yourself feeling as a kid in a candy shop.

I was ordering some gifts on line in hopes of picking them up today. When I proceeded to park in there 15 minute parking the Mgr/owner ( slightly bald, thin gentleman) whom I'd seen on occasion, saw me sitting in there 15 minute spot and proceeded to give me dirty looks ( didn't know why, since I was a patron) I was taken aback since I frequented the shop often, (nice hidden gems, since I'm not a smoker). Apparently security was called on me for parking there, although I was there for Tinderbox. I did cancel the order and will not be going back.
