I absolutely love this place! I was driving randomly and happen to look over to see this restaurant. I came back to try it out, and I have been coming back ever since. I have eaten almost everything on the menu, and my favorite items are the empanadas & the chimichanga's. The nachos are also a go-to! The portion sizes are very large & filling. The guacamole & salsa are definitely "homemade", and sooooo good! Every time I come, the service is excellent. All my waitresses have been so kind, patient, and helpful. They make it such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend this place.

2nd time here and they are spot on! Service was super friendly, chips were WARM! Salsa, yummm. I ordered the verde enchiladas, portion size was huge and everything's was so fresh and delicious!My daughter ordered the quesabirria tacos- they were TO DIE FOR!!! Get here immediately and try them! The margaritas are delicious and not made with cheap sour mix. Such a cute spot with fun cultural touches and prices are great for what you get!

This is my grandmother's favorite restaurant in Charlotte! Any time there are visitors, she wants to eat here to get a quesadilla and house margarita. They have outdoor seating, although we were a larger group (6), so we ate inside. The interior is colorful, there is mariachi music playing, the staff are nice, and the food is good.I shared the veggie fajita platter, and it was definitely enough food for two hungry people (after the chips and salsa). If there were any downsides, the rice was just okay (a little dry). Nevertheless, everybody enjoyed their entrees, and we will certainly be back.There is a ramp to the front door if anyone in your group doesn't do steps well, just be careful not to park right in front of it! Gender-segregated restrooms. Free parking lot out front.

A great local gem in plaza Midwood! Friends and I walked in on a Friday night and waited for about 20 minutes for a table. We got basic margaritas and chips and queso to start. They also give you free chips and salsa. For entrees, I recommend the chimichanga or the fajitas. Good prices and service too!

This place is awesome! I love coming to three amigos and almost always get the same thing- the enchiladas platter (I prefer the rojo style), or the chimichanga. The only thing I didn't like here was the one time I got a steak burrito, the burrito was pretty small and steak was really tough. So I usually go for the shredded chicken or shredded beef, both are always delicious! The chips and salsa are a must to start your meal, and the margaritas are so good- they make them fresh and can do a skinny marg if you prefer it less sweet. Service is always great as well. We do take-out from here a lot and it's always quick. I have noticed the portions are smaller for take-out then when you eat there (3 enchiladas when you eat in but only 2 with take-out), but sometimes you need to just eat at home! Highly recommend for authentic and delicious Mexican food!

Came in and waited about 5 minutes for a table. It's a very small space inside, but lots of tables to fit smaller groups. Got seated, and got our drinks and orders taken in a timely fashion. The service overall was great, the lady was constantly looking over and checking on us and coming over to make sure everything was good. The ambiance was very casual and authentic. They gave us free chips and salsa, and since I checked in on Yelp at the restaurant we also got a free side of queso. The regular salsa was fantastic, and the spicy green salsa was definitely spicy, and I love my spicy stuff. Ordered the chimichanga and the enchiladas mixtas plates with the Verde and chicken, jalisciences chicken, poblano beef, and beef with a side of rice and beans. Didn't have any of the steak from the enchiladas mixtas plate, but looked like it was cooked great and had a great flavor to it. All the food was good and packed with flavor, wish the chimichanga was a bit crunchier since I crave that crunch on the ends of it. All the enchiladas were really good, wasn't a big fan personally of the beef with mole sauce, but it still had good flavor.

I'd give 4.5 stars if it were an option. My only criticism is the watery queso. Aside from that, our first visit was perfect. The service was prompt, courteous, and attentive; the enchiladas were amazing, the chips warm and fresh, and the prices were great for what we got. I'd recommend Three Amigos!!

absolutely f**kin horrible the drink was mid highly do not recommend poorly staffed , small environment, lack of produce( 5 pieces of lettuce) salsa was mid queso cheese was not bad along wit the hot sauce the burrito was full of tuff meat and fatt the berrias tacos were made wit cheese sticks horrible they this b**ch didn't know they're own menu didnt give a name or anything restaurant was packed like it was Good so I dont understand what happened don't do it !!!
