Thomas Gymnastics Training Center

It is a warehouse that is a gymnastics gym up front and a big open space that was rented out and changed to a Boxing gym. Due to my son being involved in Boxing I am constantly traveling with him and I must say this is the worse location I have seen.

I took here while I was in high school for a few months for tumbling. They used different spotters often & could only work on what you already had.

I love Thomas gymnastics it's an amazing place with amazing coaches who know what there are doing and are very sweet the facility is great the gym is absolutely huge and the gym family is so nice all the girls and the moms are so sweet Thomas gymnastics is amazing I highly recommended going there it's an amazing environment thanks for all your coaching

I would give this business zero stars but I didn't know how to do that. As an ex-elite gymnast, coach and judge I know my gymnastics and this is not a good place to learn gymnastics. Stay away!I enrolled my 10 year old in Thomas and after 2 painfull months I yanked her out. She was in her first class for about 15 minutes when I couldn't stand watching the lack of proper spotting and drill progression before I was at the desk stating my observations. They agreed with me and moved her into another group (after asking me to train their staff). This group was better but it was a competitive group and my daughter had no desire to compete so again she was moved. The next group was a varied ability group, yet they all worked on the same skills. The lack of proper instruction, lack of proper spotting, lack of varied skill movements all bothered me but I what I really noticed was the amount of down time. Down time is any time you are standing in line, waiting for your turn for whatever reasons. I noticed there was a lot of that so I decided to time the class for down time was well as time for how much time was spent on the other apparatuses as it seemed they mostly did floor and nothing else.On October 20, 2015 from 6:30-8 I kept track. In the 90 minute class after a 10 minute warm up there were 42 minutes if down time! The longest stretch was 8 straight minutes of inactivity. Only 30 minutes of actual gymnastics (8 minutes were conditioning). In that time they were on floor the majority of the time except for 13 minutes on uneven bars. But 11 of that was down, with 6 second turns. There was another set of bars that were not used right next to this group.The floor skills were repetitive and rarely did a coach spot a child and put her in proper position. As a customer, you don't get what you pay for unless you enjoy paying for your child standing in line more that learning skills. Physically the coaching is lacking and proper skill progression nonexistent, setting you up only for improper techniques and bad habits.Find another gym if your child wants to learn gymnastics!

Our daughter took gymnastics at the center. The coaches are great and truly have the best interests at heart. The problem is the owners husband that runs the place (Mark) is all about $ and could care less about the product (how the teams and kids do). They are understaffed at the "team" level with coaches and they are stretched thin where a coach could be handling multiple groups at once on different apparatuses at different places around the gym. If you go to Mark for assistance, if he cant make $ off of it then he isn't going to care. I feel for the coaches. The owner is too busy trying to expand his business or buy new businesses to care about the product he is delivering.While I understand that the purpose of a business is to make money but the final product is a reflection of owners.

going on to 10 years here and it's like my second family so once i graduate high school i'm going to miss them sooo much. all the gymnasts here are super welcoming and you'll be a part of the fam in no time.
