The Wine Factory

You've got to drop in! I know the name may not attract some, but totally calls me in. Don't be fooled by the name. They have a full menu. Upscale food all the way down to pretzel bites. They have a full wine menu as well as cocktails and specialty cocktails. Staff is great. Attentive and friendly. Sat immediately.

Cheraw, SC isn't a place I ever thought I would visit, much less visit it five times, but the band I'm in, Sidecar Social Club, has played their annual jazz festival for the fourth time this year, and once again, we got to dine at The Wine Factory. Now I'm not sure what hours they keep, but I suggest, if they're open, go there. I think this was the 3rd time we've been there, and once again, it did not disappoint! Can't remember what I had a year ago, but this time the Fried Catfish, and Boy Howdy...that was Great! I got it with a side of slaw and collards. Excellent! I topped it off with a sizable hunk of Carrot Cake. Oh Yeah! The others got the Chocolate Cake. Nice! So, if you want ever find yourself in the birthplace of Dizzy, you can not go wrong with a meal from The Wine Factory.

I have visited The Wine Factory every year since 2010, when in town for the Cheraw Jazz Festival which features some of the South's best Jazz musicians and honors native son Dizzy Gillespie. The hospitality, ambiance, food and LIVE music are unmatched. I love visiting The Wine Factory and the town of Cheraw - so much so that after my very first visit Joyce and her family began treating me like a member of the family.I promise you, you'll have a good time at The Wine Factory.
