The Vintage Whiskey and Cigar Bar

Rick was amazing! His cigar choice was spot in and we loved chatting with him!! We had the best time drinking whiskey and watching college football!

I stopped in to grab a drink after checking in to my hotel. Food was very limited but the drink where nicely priced and good. They had live music They did have a cover charge the night I went. Had the bartender made me a drink of his choice as well and it tater like a fruit by the food. Also go a flat bread while I was there it was good as well will definitely be going back.

We loved Vintage Whiskey Cigar bar. Everyone is so nice and eager to help you will all your questions or drink/food assistance. The place exudes class.

Nice place. Cigar smoke was not too heavy but they were not real busy. Nice selection of cigars. Dude working the joint was a bit on the Weird side but that's cool. Will be back.

Nice cocktail and cigar lounge in the middle of downtown Gastonia - great place for after dinner. The Good: nice vibes and great service. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and offered helpful suggestions with the cocktail menu. I also loved that the cigar lounge was separate from the cocktail lounge for those of use who don't smoke. The Meh: I didn't love the cocktails. I got the Spiced Bees Knees and I think it was too heavy on the lavender. Tasted a bit like hairspray. Then I got the Blackberry Bourbon Sidecar which was good but I feel like I've had similar at many other places. I'd think for a cigar and cocktail lounge, the cocktails would be a bit more inventive, particularly for the membership price. The Bad: Membership comes in different packages but for those of us who aren't local, the day pass is $10. My friend took us there and said it was $5 after 8pm but apparently that had recently changed. I'm not sure if this is normal for cigar lounges as I don't frequent them. I did expect an annual membership fee as I know due to NC law, businesses below certain food revenue have to be "private clubs" and therefore charge an annual membership. Which, Whiskgars does but it's $50. Other places in Charlotte charge $1-$10 annually, which makes sense when you're dropping $$ for pricey drinks. Maybe this also helps pay the live musicians? That would also make sense. I think I was a bit soured when I went to pay my $10 by card at the door and the machine defaulted to a 20% tip that I initially didn't catch. When I asked what the additional $2 was for, the hostess said it's because I didn't select the "no tip" option. Ugh...ok it's only $2 but I feel many people will miss this defaulted 20% tip option. I think this is a great spot for locals who want a nice, professional atmosphere and especially for those who are into cigars. For those of us who don't partake and don't live local, a $10 day pass may be a bit much when you're paying for cocktails ranging in price from $12-$16.

A great place for a drink and a cigar. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Its very non-intimidating spot to be a new cigar smoker, the tobacconists will help you from start to finish. The front bar is a beautiful space that does live music most weekends. The lounge seating is comfortable. The bar food is also great for light bites. Definitely a great spot in downtown Gastonia!

I love love the ambiance it just looks and feels upscale! The live music is pleasant and the set up is like your in your living room. The drinks are delicious, the seats are comfy and the food selection is a nice add. The cigar side is very laid back and they have a nice selection.

Perfect atmosphere the staff is ver knowledgeable of the cigars a great choice of food and whiskey. Can't wait to come back
