The Valley Grille - Indian Trail (Sun Valley Theatre)I believe they've only been open approximately six days! You can't find them on Google yet, but they are on Google Maps. I'm going to post their address for your information.I let them know about the Google issue and they're looking into it, so I haven't been able to post my review there yet.Really nice interior, apologies I didn't get pictures, but clean, wait staff is very polite, professional, responsive. I'm assuming the gentleman I spoke with is either the owner or the manager, he went around to everyone to make sure their experience was on par.They were not set up for gift cards? So he actually sat down with me and we came up with a solution lol! They stapled my $25 receipt to a menu, the gentleman signed it with his name approving it as a gift card. Did I say how accommodating and wonderful the staff was? Now for the food?Very fresh, amazing flavors, they bring out pita bread with two dipping sauces. One more of a paste. I believe one might be eggplant so maybe baba Ghanouj? It was sooo flavorful! The other was Foul Mudammas - I think of it as a creamy garlic, whipped, paste. Oh wow!! They gave me extra to take home at no charge. I actually put a little bit of both on a piece of pita and ate it, it was heaven in my opinion.I ate the Foul Mudammas with EVERYTHING! Dipped my Mixed Grill in it they were wonderful about bringing extra when they saw I had used it up!Another favorite? Was the lemon chicken soup, I got it as a side? Very flavorful, great comfort food. I highly recommend it. In fact, a woman walked in just to get a menu? She saw all the food on my table and came over to ask me how it was - when I recommended the soup? She went and ordered some - the owner gave it to her for free because he heard her speaking with me about the quality of the food! Have I said what wonderful people they are?It's a small cup, but I'm sure people can order more. Even if you pay extra? I promise you, it definitely is worth it! I'm not going to lie when I say I would go back just for the lemon chicken soup! Or the apps! I ordered the Tabbouli salad - again? Was amazed at how beautifully they seasoned it. LOVE lemon and it had the perfect amount in it, really enjoyed it, so fresh and very healthy!Lastly, I ordered the mixed grill. It had steak, chicken, in addition to beef kafto and chicken tawook. Truly enjoyed it.Please note: they ask you if you want it with rice or french fries. I asked for french fries extra crispy -- thinking in my mind? They would serve them on the side.They do not. They serve the mixed grill OVER the rice/french fries on the same plate. If I had known, would've went for the rice. However, their french fries were not bad by any means. I just tend to choose to have my ingredients separate. But that is a personal preference. All in all? Really great portions, quality food, quality staff. Absolutely I am going back! It's not cheap when you get an entrée, but I definitely want to try the shrimp and some of the other dishes! Highly recommend a visit, even though they've been open a week? Quality product, quality staff - I didn't have any hiccups at all! Really great Mediterranean food and a wonderful addition to Indian Trail/Union County.Oh, and did I mention they deliver via Uber eats?! Saves me a trip across 74 for sure!

Great location next to Sun Valley 14 Theaters with plenty of free parking. We were seated quickly and orders taken then they took about 30 minutes to deliver the sandwiches to our table. Hate to eat and run, but, our movie was about to start.My wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma sandwich $7.99, and I ordered the Shish Kabob Lamb sandwich at $8.99. Unfortunately, both meats were tasteless and dry. Very disappointing.Lastly, I don't know why it's named Valley Grill. It's far from a meat-n-three, blue plate kinda place. Falafels, shawarmas, kebobs, etc., no hot dogs or burgers, either. Has my "Give 'em a meter" dazed and confused.

Great new restaurant. Great location! I really liked the kabobs. The sandwiches were great. My wife enjoyed the chicken Kafta. I'm will definitely order again. Give them a try.

If you LOVE middle eastern/mediterranean food you have to try the Valley grill.We dined on the veggie plate, chicken fattoush salad and the mix grill. All the food was flavorful and with great portions. The staff was very friendly as well. We met one of the owners and his father is the chef. You can defiantly see and taste the pride they take in their food. A definite must try!

My husband and I thought it was just OK. They need to work on their 90.0 sanitation rating. The complimentary Pita bread wasn't great. Don't plan to go back as my favorite place for Mediterranean food is close by in Matthews. But I will say others I know really liked it.

I was there with two friends during the "soft opening" in January. We sat for over an hour waiting for our food after the waiter took our order. Later we were told that our order was never given to the cooks... needless to say very disappointing. We were all given our meals without cost and spoke with the manager. The food we eventually received was prepared well and tasted delicious. I will return for another meal.

The Valley Grill is authentic! The last time we had food this deliciously well prepared, we were in the Middle East. The staff is wonderfully kind and just attentive enough. The ambiance is clean, simple and new. The middle eastern music brings an auditory feel to your meal that reminds you of Bethlehem. But, above all else, the food is fantastically Mediterranean. We are thrilled to have this quality of food close by.

Wow an absolute hidden gem! Had a few errands to run in Monroe and was shocked by the quality and caliber of the food. Literally texted my friends who live near by about it immediately. Service was great and very attentive. Great no frills spot that serves good food!

Plenty of food. Busy and not fully staffed yet. Falafel sandwich tasted "fried" and the veggies inside didn't have a dressing or and brightness to counter it. Veggie plate had a lot of food had good flavors but again the "over-fried" falafel issue. Baklava was not layered write so was a disappointment. Prices are good or extremely high depending on entrees or "sandwiches ". Staff were very good. Just a little overwhelmed.

I ordered a Shish Kabob lunch meal, it came with salad but I ordered Hummus on the side (to-go) Meat is ok but was burned and dry, BUT 4 small pieces?! COME ON NOW! For the price I'm dissapointed. Rice was meh but I did like the salad with the hummus. Won't be going back to this place. Too expensive for what they offer.
