The Tipsy Barrel

Nice little place located in the strip center by Lowes Home Improvement. The place is kinda small with half of it being a bar area, and the other half being cans/bottles sold for either on premises consumption or to go. They also do growler fillsThere is a decent selection considering how small the place is. The beer seemed to be served in the appropriate glassware, and they had a wide variety of styles represented. Too often small places like this, with less than 15-20 taps, will have nothing but IPA's and AAL's on tap.The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive despite the place being very busy. the Bartender seemed to really know his stuff about the beer.Overall, this is a nice little place to stop in if you are in the area, particularly on Tuesdays when they have $4 pints.

Quaint place to enjoy a great brew and find some hidden gems. They have great regular prices not to mention $4 dollar beer Tuesdays and $4 wine Thursdays!Looking for that exclusive brew, definitely try here as they have tons of selections. Reasonable prices for both beer and wine selections. They often have live music as well. Not to mention, alcoholic ice cream (great combo) and kegs to go! Shared parking with other businesses. Have a couple of pints of craft beer and get Indian, Mexican or a pizza for dinner. All in all, a great location with great beer, good people, and food.

Was in town for a few days for work. Stopped by here the first night in town at way too close to closing. The gentleman working was very kind, let us in as he pulled in tables and laughed when I said I'd need a screw top bottle since I didn't have a corkscrew. He helped us pick out a nice Malbec and even loaned us a corkscrew to take to the hotel with us. Did not get to return this trip but highly recommend it based on his customer service.

Saturday night out and totally low key? Sounds perfect for an evening with friends after a long day of yard work. The owner would mingle and chat with everyone, while sharing great suggestions on wine or craft beer. A favorite spot for a new friend so had to stop by with him. There were 5 of us sharing beer tastings at the bar and making the older gentleman tending to us, just chuckle. A few other small groups came in and out. Sat at a small table, enjoyed a local craft beer and left. We stayed until closing, which is only 10pm, but truly appreciated the chill environment. Would definitely stop by here again. Some of the beers on tap or in the case that you just can't find at local full bars.

If you like to try new/different beers, in bottles or on draft in a new, quaint spot, this is your place. The front patio space with tables is a bonus. The wine collection is another draw if that's your thang, not to mention the liquor store next door that's in cahoots... It's a win win win here really for all your adult beverage selections... C'mon now...

They have a great selection of beer and wine. Tim the bartender is great at anwering any questions and making slections on what you may prefer. Plus you can just ask for a sample.

Cool place, good selection of South Carolina beers. I took a star off due to the Tipsy Barrel's layout. It's small and narrow due to the fact that it's in a strip mall. Cool growler fills as well.

Such a nice and quiet place to enjoy a beer or glass of wine. Draft selection isn't huge but they keep a variety of beers cold for drinking at the bar. Has quite a bit of craft beers and wine to purchase. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
