The Soup Company

i enjoyed my first time at the soup company! i love that i was able to choose which cheese i wanted on my grilled cheese sandwich and the flavors worked really great together dipped in my tomato basil soup. i came with a friend who ordered the chicken and wild rice soup and he loved it! at the end of our meal, the owner brought a little plate with two mini chocolate chip cookies which was just a beautiful little touch. hoping to give this quaint place another try soon.

I stopped here for lunch earlier this week. I had a half of a chicken salad sandwich and potato/carrot/spinach soup. It was excellent. Best potato soup i have since my grandmother's back in the day. The chicken salad was great - not floating in mayo like at many places and included grapes. The plate included a nice piece of watermelon and a sweet little fudge cupcake. Oh, and they offered me a tea for the road. The staff were welcoming and very efficient.

This is a must try restaurant! I love all their homemade soups & sandwiches. Absolutely delicious.

A hidden gem for sure!! We will be back. Theresa was terrific! The soup and sandwich was delish! We split the special meatball sub and had New England Clam Chowder and Chicken Poblano. Very hardy soups!! I'm full!!! And when dining in there's complementary little dessert!!

my boyfriend and i got the lobster bisque and grilled cheese. it was very very good !! we both enjoyed it a lot.

Didn't even stay to eat. The most unfriendly service you could imagine. Paid for our drinks that we didn't drink and left.

New to the area & had the chance to have lunch delivered from The Soup Company. Soup & half an egg sandwich later, I was texting my Soup Loving Husband about the yummy lunch I had. Stopped into the shop today to pick up lunch and was greeted by the Owners. Hilarious Couple who had me laughing & tasting the soupS of the day. Everything was delicious!! A must try with a cookie treat on the side!!Eat in, Pickup & Delivery, can't go wrong!!

Stopped here traveling between Harnett County and Charlotte for a quick lunch. The egg salad was delicious and the Venison Stew was incredible. I am not often in Carthage for lunch, but the next time I am, I will look forward to trying another soup at the Soup Company. My only suggestion: some way to try all of the soups of the day. Like a "soup flight"... I really wanted to try them all!

Wonderful lunch spot! The soup and sandwich combo was superb! We tried the New England clam chowder and the loaded baked potato soups. It was impossible to pick our favorite between the two!

FANTASTIC experience. Stop debating where to go. Go here - seriously. The Beef Stew was lights out. The Club Sandwich and Cheeseburger Soup (don't knock it until you try it) were too. Somehow, the food was matched by the customer service. The hospitality and warmth of this husband-and-wife operation will remain unmatched. So, go. You'll be glad you listened.
