The River Deck Store & Grill

We are regulars here and it has never one time disappointed. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the burger of the month has yet to disappoint! I HIGHLY recommend you stop by this gas station cafe. Nicest people, great food, and a place I hope we all will support this wonderful restaurant! The cowboy was a burger of the month they added to the regular menu! It's one of my favorites! They did a French dip... oh swoon!! The grinch!!!! One month was Asian fusion!!! That one was so unexpectedly wonderful!!! My mouth is watering just talking about it all!!!Don't hesitate to stop by and support this great gas station, get your fill of fuel and great food!!!

Great food and friendly people. Best place to stop and eat at Lake Wateree (breakfast, lunch or dinner). They have regular specials. My favorite recently is a lamb gyro sandwich with feta fries (their fries are fantastic). They also have a large dining area that can seat 32 people and it can get pretty full, especially at lunch time.

Stopped at River Deck today to grab some lunch. Got a hamburger all the way with tater tots. The burgers are always good here. It is a great stop for lunch along Hwy 97. I highly recommend the River Deck for grill and store.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten! The old time feel of a roadside/lakeside cafe was very authentic. I don't know how long this place has been around, but it's doing stuff right! Friendly staff, very clean and neat, no frills, goodfast service!

10/10 EAT HERE!! The food is fantastic! My favorite lunch spot out of Camden & Lancaster combined. The breakfast sandwich's, wings, burgers, it's all so good!

Best place to get take out around the lake. We eat here very regularly. As the other reviews have pointed out, their burger is fabulous! Everything is very fresh! I've been eating it at least once a week this summer. The fries are also super crispy. Highly recommend this place to grab a bite. I always get take out and it's usually between 15-20 minutes.

Great stop on 97 between Lancaster/ Chester and Camden. Burgers and dogs are excellent! Folks are always nice in the store.

The River Deck NEVER disappoints !! Such a friendly staff and GREAT FOOD. My wife always gets the Philly Steak & Cheese and it's her favorite Philly in the Southeast. I continue to experiment with the Burger of the Month, which the Chef changes monthly. This little restaurant is A MUST stop on your travels at Wateree Lake !!

Great food and atmosphere. Drove in on my boat on memorial day, dropped anchor and walked up to the restaurant. Got to listen to live music while kiddos played in the field.

Great burgers and salads if you find yourself in this neck of the SC woods! Friendly and quick service. Would never have found this place for a much needed lunch if it wasn't for the Yelp app as it is located inside a gas station/ convenience storefront. Great local fare!
