We chose the Ritz-Carlton for our Charlotte trip because it was conveniently located near major tourist attractions and only a 15-minute drive from the airport. As we entered, I was instantly captivated by its luxurious lobby, which featured a wine storage, a bar, and ample seating areas. The hotel honored our early check-in request and even upgraded us for being Platinum Bonvoy member.Within a few hours of our arrival, they presented us with an anniversary platter tray and a heartfelt handwritten card. The service throughout our stay was consistently exceptional, from the attentive staff at the lobby, entrance, and room service to the friendly staff in the restaurant. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a large bathroom that included a TV in the mirror--a unique feature for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, made with renowned Marriott mattresses. The cabinet was equipped with a full bar in a drawer fridge and a variety of snacks. The TV was conveniently placed right in front of the bed. For the first time ever in a Marriott hotel, I was able to use the mobile key without any issues. In addition to its comfortable rooms, the hotel offered a range of amenities, including a heated pool, spa, and gym. There was also a restaurant located on the second floor, providing easy access to nearby attractions such as the Discovery Place Science Center, the Levine Museum, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and four wards of Charlotte.

Definitely a 5 star hotel for me. Their service and care is above and beyond. The room is spacious, elegant and comes with good space for storage. Almost a full bar in your own room. Bathroom is spotless. All the items you might need are there. Good brands of body wash, shampoo etc. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Easily top 3 best hotels I have stayed.

I love the way we were greeted at the valet when pulling up and everyone was so happy to see us. It was like the grand welcoming committee! Lilly is so sweet and gave us a room on the 16th floor. It's very dated and the rooms need renovating so that will take a star off my otherwise glowing review!

Located in the heart of downtown Charlotte , The Ritz (now owned and operated by Marriot) is the best ! Conveniently located to the Bank of America stadium and all downtown attractions . The customer service , ambiance and amenities are top notch . The rooms are clean , modern and well appointed . The restaurant (BLT Steak) and hotel spa are amazing ! Don't be surprised to see supersized tall basketball players in the elevator because the Ritz is where they stay when they are playing in Charlotte. The spa is the best I have experienced in the Southeast region . It is newly renovated and very couple friendly . We appreciated the multiple co-ed relaxation rooms within the spa and the aqua lounge . You can order food and drinks in both the co-ed relaxation rooms or the aqua lounge. I recommend spacing out your services so you can enjoy all the amenities in between . You can of course enjoy them after your services as well if you have time . We opted to do a couples massage in the morning at 9am and then a facial at 2pm . This allowed plenty of time in between to relax and enjoy the amenities . In the ladies locker room , the amenities include a dry sauna , salt room and 16 head experience shower . The men's locker room offers a zero gravity massage chair instead of a salt room . I promise you will not want to leave ! It's a totally luxurious experience and perfect for couples , bridal parties and of course a solo experience ! The staff are also super friendly , professional and skilled . If you dine at BLT Steak don't miss the popovers or their signature entree, the Dover sole - it's amazing ! If it's bad weather outside , keep in mind the ritz is connected to several buildings so make sure to consider using the connecting tunnels to avoid bad weather if you are going nearby . The Ritz is my absolute favorite place to stay in Charlotte !

Had the worst stay experience here, and I have been to several Ritz, St regis, Marriott, Waldorf etc. All around the US and the world. It started off the with the banging noise coming every few minutes from the wall on top of the windows. It kept happening and we called the front desk. They said they would call the engineer. The engineer came and listened and said very rudely "well what do you want me to do... What do you want me to do about this"... Not really a solution. Front desk called and engineer said it was road noise, which it clearly wasn't and there have even been other reviews complaining about the piping noises etc. Finally they moved us to another room, and this room has the exact same noise, and it is so loud my wife and I could not sleep the entire night! It sounds like someone is shooting a paintball and the window, but every 5-10 minutes, and all hours weather it's hot, day, night etc. They then attempted to stay it was the windows expanding from heat, but every few minutes? And during evening when it's cool, and day all throughout? I don't believe so... The hotel has huge structural issues and we were questioned in the fromt at checkout why we didn't complain again though we were there for one night... This is ridiculous and after the attitude from the engineer, my wife did not want to even stay there anymore. I have several recordings of the noise and the front desk said they would just take my info and get back to me (never happened) and that they could not hear it clear enough even though it was extremely loud. If you want to be sleepless at the Ritz then stay here, but this was the worst stay at a 5 star property my wife and I have ever had.

Came to the Ritz spa for the day with a few of my friends...perfection! Just what we needed to relax. If you spend over $100 in services, you can access their whole spa all day (and you can go as early as they open and stay until they close). They have a pool, salt room, dry sauna, quiet/rest room. There's also a beverage table where you can have unlimited water, hot teas and flavored water. All the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), disposable toothbrushes, and feminine products are available there. Professional hair tools also available there! The lady who did my pedicure was fantastic and so kind. It was a quick 45 minutes, but my toes never looked better!Valet parking is free, make sure to get your ticket validated at the spa front desk.

This is a review of Hidden Wine, the wine shop inside the hotel that deserves its own Yelp page (in my opinion!) It's open to the public. Came across the gem of a place while driving around, looking for a parking lot. Saw the "Hidden Wine" sign on the outside window of the hotel entrance, which is really easy to miss. I called the hotel before stopping by to confirm the shop was open to the public. Walked up to the hotel entrance and asked for the wine shop and Maddie (who works in Hidden Wine) showed us through the lobby to the store entrance. The store is very quaint, but filled with lots of good finds. Of course they have pricy, rare bottles for sale but I was also able to find ones in my price range (bought one for $16 and another for $35). After telling Maddie that I'd been tasting Cabernet Francs all day, she let me sample another they had in store. I also asked for a recommendation and then sampled a Riesling they had on tap (cool, right!) I ended up buying a bottle of that, too and chatted a bit more with Maddie about wine. She's dope af and dedicated to helping folks drink more quality wines. Shoutout to her and her A1 customer service.

Grab a day pass at The Ritz Carlton for $100 with access to all spa facilities, rather it's for a self care day, girlfriends, or couples day. The best part of this all is they offer Complimentary valet parking available for the day of the treatment, including local guests enjoying the Spa facilities. My time here was divine . What I enjoyed most was the Himalayan pink salt room where it was infused with actual mists of salt in the air that you inhale and could taste it as well . The benefits of this is to clear your airways, provide nutrients & immune boosting minerals. The relaxation was a nice vibe as well with all other amenities included . When it was all said and done we went and enjoyed drinks down in the bar of the Ritz called The K lounge a nice sexy set up . Call into The Ritz-Carlton & ask to be transferred to the Spa Department in order to set up for the day pass, because this information is not listed on the actual website. Go & awaken your senses at The Ritz Carlton Spa.

I recently came from a Ritz Carlton in Europe where they had a beautiful piano and let me play. Upon my stay in charlotte I was unfortunately not booked here. However I walked in to the ritz in Charleston, the staff was all super friendly, and allowed me to play their piano for a bit. Even if you aren't booked staying here, I highly recommend you change your plans. It's in the heart of uptown Charlotte with a ton of restaurants and bars nearby.

The team at the Charlotte location went ABOVE and beyond for us. We missed our connecting flight to Jamaica and ended up stuck for a full day in Charlotte. Their team took amazing care of us and even gifted us some water bottles to take with us on our trip! They felt our stress and did everything to alleviate it. Truly a Ritz experience through and through
