The Plated Palette

I attended a private event in Baxter Village in Fort Mill, SC where this company was the food truck.Attendance was high& they were very busy.Somehow they managed to provide food for a huge crowd.The servers was friendly & professional.The menu was OK.I had the cranberry Turkey melt which had good flavor, it was just a small portion.The cilantro lime rice was really good!

Place is really good. Almost too good since they were out of almost everything. I really wanted the wings because they looked so good but by the time I got to the front of the line, they were out. I ended up getting the cajun tacos. Tacos were good and the fish was cooked really good. I didn't know that there was cilantro rice on the taco and I got a side of it. Rice was good but could use a little bit more flavor. I will definitely try this place again!Hopefully they will have the wings!

Just enjoyed some wings from the food truck. I kept it simple. What can I say, they were fried to perfection. The woman working (I don't know if she is the owner) was super nice.You can place orders ahead of time so there is no wait. They can text or email when the order is ready. They are on top of things.They have sandwiches, wraps, wings and other options. The prices are fair too. Give them a shot.

I came across the Plated Palette at the Uptown Flea today. I was happy that they offered quite a few vegetarian/pescatarian options. I opted for the fish tacos and they were DELICIOUS. I got the cilantro lime rice as a side which was best with the extra lime squeezed on it. Great customer service too! I hope to run into this truck more often.

Huge disappointment... Save your money. Food was bland, cold, and sparse. Rice was abysmal. Sandwich is all bread. Was generous with 2 stars because potato salad was good.

Plated Palette showed up at my office park the other day and I didn't bring my lunch. Therefore I got Plated Palette.I checked out a few of the entrees that my co-workers got before I made my selection of a chicken pita sandwich with greens, tomatoes, and cucumber ranch with a side of cilantro rice.Now the sandwich was delicious even though it took me two napkins to eat it and I also enjoyed the rice.

They come to my office about once a month. I've tried 3 or 4 things and have loved them all! I love the variety they have on their menu. Such a great treat vs packing lunch!

Not what I'd hoped for. I got the chicken pita and it was definitely not what I expected. The chicken was that processed strip chicken out of a bag or something...and it didn't have any flavor, but im more concerned with how processed it is. Then there's a piece of provolone on the bottom and a lot of ranch dressing on top. I give it 3 stars (being too kind) because the greens and tomatoes seemed fresh. Definitely missed the mark with this one. Maybe if they're back at my office, I'll try the fish tacos!

All I can say is that their food definitely missed the mark. I absolutely love the food trucks in Charlotte and have never been disappointed, until I tried The Plated Palette.I was able to try this food truck outside of Ass Clown Brewery over the weekend. I had asked them what their signature dish was or what they recommended I tried, I was directed to try their version of a steak and cheese sandwich. If that is their best dish then I am sorry to say that I doubt I will try their food again. The sandwich was sub par and left much to be desired. Even with adding grilled onions and peppers it was still very bland. The rest of their menu consisted of fish tacos and I am left wondering if I would of been better off ordering those.

The food was ok but not great. For the price, I expected a little more in quality and quantity. I had the fish tacos, most restaurants give you 3 tacos, but I only received 2. I could tell it was pre-frozen. The potato salad was good but it wasn't enough to really enjoy it.
