The Pit Indoor Kart Racing

The devil is all too often in the details and it's these details that often distract from the experience.My Family and I were passing through on our way back home following Thanksgiving and needed a place to burn a few hours while we waited for our hotel room. Bottom line up front, we had a good time and are bookmarking this for our next road trip. From the axe throwing to the laser tag to the bumper cars to the mini golf to the arcade - it was a good time. The wait was almost 2 hours for the cart course so we bypassed that option.The distractors were the unengaged employees that were simply going through the motions and seemed more interested in socializing among themselves. Then there were the 2-3 areas on the Mini-Golf coarse where the carpeting was coming up. But, distractions aside...it was a good time...But, it's those distractors/those details that took it from a good experience to an average one. From a 4 to a 3.

This place offers a lot! You can ride indoor go karts, visit escape rooms, or play arcade games. They're understaffed so service is slow but whenever they get to you you'll enjoy it and have a great time. The go karts work well. They go fast but since the track is indoors there are a lot of fumes from the cars. I like how they practice safety. You have to watch a safety video before riding and you get secure helmets to wear. Lockers are available for .50 to put personal belongings in. What I enjoyed more than anything was the escape room! That was 1 hour of working to collect clues to get out of the room. It takes wit to figure out the mystery! We LOVED it! We got out with 9 minutes to spare! My only negative is that they're short staffed and we had long wait times.

Stopped here while in the area for a birthday weekend. I think it's great that there's a place with so many different activities under one roof so that you could spend a whole day there if you wanted. Probably a perfect place for a child's birthday party or date night.We only experienced the arcade a bit and the axe throwing. The arcade has a good variety of games. The skeeball scoring is broken but nbd.Axe throwing could definitely be better. I've been to a couple other places, and I don't think the axes are weighted well or sharp enough because it shouldn't be that hard to get it to stick. It takes the fun out of it when 0-10% of the throws actually stick. I can't imagine anyone actually playing the games based on how difficult it is. Aaron was nice and helpful but I would recommend a 1-minute spiel about how to properly throw the axe - he gave one-on-one tips as needed but I think it would be beneficial to just give the information to the whole group at once. What's also interesting is that the advice given is different than other instructions I've been given at other axe throwing facilities (one-handed throw vs. two).Some other things that we observed:- Having no bathrooms downstairs is very inconvenient- We wanted to play the Lazer Frenzy but it required special tokens and the staff member at the neighboring mini golf area had no idea what we were talking about- We were going to try some mini golf while waiting for axe throwing but the staffer said he didn't have any golf balls ..... which just doesn't really make any sense- The bumper car area is way too small. There is definitely space to extend that by 10 or 15 feet which would make a helpful difference.

this place is sick. great prices for the attractions. go karting and escape rooms are in the $20 range, but they have black light mini golf and a big arcade that you can also play around in. the workers are young people and nice. the only downside is that there was hardly any A/C in the entire building and it's really easy to work up a sweat, especially playing around in mini golf

No structure downstairs with the karts. Excessive wait times (2+ hours) and unfriendly staff. Megan was the worst employee to be downstairs being hateful to people. Also- if you go with friends and pay separately, it is not guaranteed you'll race together! Not according to Megan at least.

Service here sucks, I understand that you guys are short staffed but maybe consider not being open if you are that short staffed, especially if you can't help your customers, for example the go kart race wait is ridiculous we had to wait for like 2 almost three hours we kept going back they kept saying ten more minutes then 15 then 30 eventually we had to talk some shit to finally be able to do the go karts we paid for, also very unprofessional, employee Megan was very rude and not respectful, and very unprofessional just absolutely looked like she hated her job no one is forcing her to be there okay I'm sorry just wanted to go out for my buddy's birthday and she wanted to be rude to us also rude to a few kids, moral of the story rethink your choices if you are contemplating going there. :)

The employee, Maria, who helped my husband and i out with the go karts was very rude. When we arrived to the go karts we were not greeted with a "hi" or even a smile, but rather a very cold "go to that room and watch a 3 minute video". When we got into the karts, my husband had to reach his foot to the gas pedal to see if he needed extenders and she yelled at him to take his foot off the pedals. Then when she started up our karts, my husband had to apply the brakes to keep from running into me since his kart was behind mine and she proceeded to yell at him again to take his foot off the pedal. Maria gave off a really sour vibe from beginning to end (almost like she hated her job). My husband and I don't get to go out much as we have kids, jobs, etc. and unfortunately, Maria, made our experience less than desirable.

We celebrate our son Noah birthday tonight and every was going bad until we got to the pit and adien was our host for my son party. This guy energy was through the roof. We are glad that we celebrated our son 10 birthday. Aiden showed us a really good time and had awesome great costumer service. We will be back cause of Aiden. I hope I didn't Spell his name wrong. We always have fun here; we like to bring out-of-town visitors with kids here to have a good time, and they always do. This time around, we felt like the arcade was a waste of money. You only seem to get a single life before having to add more credits, and we received absolutely no tickets, which was very disappointing. We brought our 15 month old baby, and she LOVED all the lights and riding the little moving car towards the beginning of the arcade area. It would've been nice to have a few more baby rides like that for her to enjoy since she was too small for everything else but REALLY wanted to be involved. The other kids we were with (4, 7, and 9) enjoyed themselves immensely with the go karts, the peanut track, the escape room, and the Spin Zone.

My family and I visited the Pit Indoor Kart Racing and had an amazing time! Langley was such a great sales associate. Langley greeted me and my family with a warm smile, and helped us navigate all of the activities that this place had to offer! Thank you Langley for making our trip so memorable!!
