I attended a Dessert Wars event at the Park Expo & Conference Center, and it was the perfect venue for such a large-scale event. The space was incredibly spacious, allowing for plenty of room to move around comfortably, even with a big crowd. The layout made it easy to explore all the different vendors without feeling cramped, which really enhanced the experience.Overall, it's an excellent venue for events, and I was impressed with how well-suited it was for Dessert Wars. I would definitely attend future events here!

My fave time of year is upon us which means my fave event I wait for the whole year has finally arrived! The Southern Christmas Show! I have literally been going to this event since a child, and the park expo is the perfect place to have it. 3 huge buildings filled to the brim with craft vendors and tasty treats. Plenty of benches to take a rest on if things get too overwhelming. Plenty of parking, but overflow I believe is across the street at Bojangles arena, there is an underground tunnel can walk thru so you don't have to cross the busy street. The building is old but I think it's very well kept to have lasted all of these years.

Spend Sunday afternoon at the Southern Christmas Show. While it is essentially the same every year, it never disappoints. There were hundreds of vendors selling their crafts, merchandise, or food. The theme of Christmas certainly got you into the spirit. The show is throughout 3 large rooms. There is food to purchase and a place to sit in between them as you walk. It was very crowded but everyone was cordial with one another. You do have to have patience if you want to go into one of the more popular booths or shops. I really appreciated when they identified booths as a new vendor. I made sure I went into their booth to check them out. We were sent to the Bojangles coliseum to park which made it a long walk. Thankfully, on the way out we picked up a golf cart ride back from a wonderful gentleman who was quite entertaining. The cost was $16 at the door but we paid $13.50 at Harris Teeter. Parking was $10. I do believe the cost of the ticket AND parking is a bit much as you have to factor that in, however, it was my niece's first time so it was worth it. One recommendation would be to allow someone to be able to come back to either pick up or purchase something without paying again or at a minimum at a much-reduced price.

This review applies to my experience with the LEGO Brick Fest Live from this past weekend. Horrendous organization. VIP entry did not actually get you VIP entry. Look on FB and you'll see videos of the ridiculous lines. Hours in 100 degree heat to be met with an un air-conditioned event space. Bathrooms were dirty, smelly and at least two toilets did not flush. I would not recommend attending an event here.

I'm here for the Southern Christmas Show. Let me just say if you've never been and you love the Christmas Holiday season this would be right up your alley. This place is beautifully laid out. I walked in and was immediately overwhelmed. Not in a bad way....this placr brings about a jolly spirit. Happiness rings throughout the air. Its just one big happy Christmas Flea Market. I saw so many great ideas and so many places to shop. There's an array of food places and live entertainment! I hate I never came in years passed!

The inside was okay. Not super nice but sufficient. That's why I gave it an extra star or two. Once you're inside, it's fine. The lobby was basic but nice. Inside the hall, it was just OK. It was kind of crude compared to the building's outer appearance and what the lobby might suggest. What prompted this review was my frustration with actually getting there. If we're talking about the roads that lead to the venue, it would only be one star. The capacity of the surrounding roads is pathetic. It's an event center, so they had to know there would be a large influx of cars for any given event. I was approximately 1/3 of a mile away, and sat in nearly dead stopped traffic. It moved occasionally, but the pace was even slower than stop-and-go traffic. At that point, it took me about 25 minutes to go the distance that would take 1-2 minutes with minimal traffic.

Just attended QC brewers fest this year and loved this space, huge layout and plenty of room. Any workers that I did see were friendly and willing to help with any questions, bathrooms were nice and clean. .Being my first time it was a great experience and look forward to another event here.

I came here for the Southern Christmas Show this year, it had been a number of years since I had been. The layout is nice, however, it can get tough to navigate as it is very crowded and people have strollers as well as carts to hold all of their purchases trying the move throughout the aisles and booths.Parking is another issue. The last time we went, we went first thing in the morning, which is obviously the best time to go instead of after lunch on a Saturday as it probably took us an hour or more to be able to park. The line was massively long and just not moving very well.Aside from the crowds and the poor parking management, I would still highly recommend going to the Southern Christmas show as it is a lovely event with lots of unique vendors with beautiful Christmas ornaments and decorations as well as a number of the NC wineries that all offer free tastings - lots of mulled wine and holiday wines! Food options aren't plenty, but they are doable if you need something to eat - we ate before we came. Sample food tables have crazy long lines as well!

I was here for a work expo and it was not a good experience. The staff didn't turn on the air like they were supposed to so we were loading up on a mid to late august day in 95 degree heat. There were also dead "water bugs" or as I call them roaches all around our booth and dead lizards stuck to the ground near someone else's. The layout plan they had sucked. They had us on the end facing a brick wall. What a delightful view. The guy who works with the power was super rude. A super nice guy hooked us up to power without us asking and then I'm assuming the guy in charge with a clipboard not doing much besides standing around came up and scolded us while frantically pointing at his clipboard. We didn't ask them to hook that up. All around wouldn't recommend this venue again

Today I attended the Bridal Expo so my review is based on this event. Walking in I was prepared to pay the $7.00 parking and $10.00 for the event. When I walked inside the lady informed me that everyone was free, so I was very happy. I made my way around the event checking out all the amazing vendors. I'm helping a friend with her wedding planning so I wanted to come and get some ideas from vendors and great contacts. They had about 100 vendors for this event, I was expecting it to be PCKED similar to the southern women show. But the vendors barely filled up half of the space. I will say I enjoyed all of the tastings that the vendors offered and how inviting they were with offering their services. My only pit about this event was the number of vendors. For me I was expecting more, although I'm not a bride just yet. I did over hear a lot of the brides mention that some of the vendors were repeats from other events that take place throughout the Charlotte. I'm sure that's pretty difficult to change or adjust but could be a 2019 goal.
