The Museum Transylvania Heritage Museum

I came to visit Brevard, NC because of the Aluminum Tree museum at Transylvania Heritage Museum. The hours on Google and the website indicated that they were open.However, after driving an hour from Asheville. I was disappointingly surprised that they were closed. Not only was I bummed, but it appeared that other patrons as well.My guess is they decided to close on Veterans Day and didn't bother to tell anyone, but themselves.I am not from North Carolina, but live in Texas full time. It would be nice for them to post updated hours that they abide by.

Looking for some more history??? Check out the Transylvania Heritage Museum. It's tucked back behind a building so you could miss it but keep looking it's there. The museum is small but fun to see how things came to be in these here parts The museum clerk was super friendly and would love to have more visitors. It's a little gem tucked away.
