Really good club. Best alternative club in Charlotte and you can meet the band most of the times.

Great music venue, awesome drinks and staff. They always have awesome bands playing. It's also great that they have their own parking lot.

Update. Last visit 4 years ago. So, many changes. Still cash only at doorBut bar takes cards, and they will keep it for the duration of your stay. Back porch is new. Fantastic upgrade. Just needed a spot to get away for the (very) loud music for 5 minutes. Also smoking allowed out there. But do not sit in the tables, for your own safety.

Always a unique experience here each time I attend a show. Every time I come here, I look at the walls and stickers all over the venue and how many layers of history of bands have came through this venue. The bartenders are always attentive and polite as well. Since new renovations, the patio is very spacious and clean and the inside has higher ceilings and fresh walls ready to be covered with more stickers and graffiti by bands to come through the venue. There is plentiful seating as well on the sides of the venue and some tables as well. One of my favorite venues in Charlotte for the past 10 years. Definitely would recommend always.

Digital Noir plays here roughly once a month. I get to get my goth groove on and wear my black finest. Drinks are somewhat limited by what they have behind the bar but the bartender is awesome so remember to tip!The music is what I go for. Nowhere else in town can I hear Skinny Puppy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure and the occasional Thrill Kill Kult. It's dirty, dark and grimy inside but it suits my needs. I honestly wish there were more places like this in Charlotte. This is currently it's only "true" dive bar IMHO.

Horrible customer service, small venue, staff wasnt nice at all. I have driven 3 plus hours from myrtle beach only to be rejected at the door because my passenger didnt have a I'd. we got the tickets for the concerts but the person at the door basically told us too bad. I will not be going to this venue ever again. Horrible customer service.

Located in a less than desireable area of Charlotte, we need to acknowledge that the Milestone isn't for everyone. But it is one of the oldest punk/hardcore/metal/rock venues in Charlotte, and legend has it that Nirvana played there WAY back in the day. It is sort of an assault on your senses. Visually, the band sticker/graffiti decor can keep you entertained with all the random bands that have played there. The music is going to be loud enough to leave your ears ringing in the packed little stage room. In the summer months, you can tell that the power bill is not high because of air conditioning. This not only turns everyone into a sweaty mess, but it makes the bathrooms an olfactory gauntlet. They are also pretty lax on the no smoking policy. The PBR tallboys are cold as most bands can tell you since I have seen more than one act showered in beer by the moshing crowd.Make sure you bring cash unless you care to deal with their less than comforting ATM behind the bar set up.

One of the best places in Charlotte to see live music, period. Great atmosphere, great alcohol selection (all you need is PBR anyway, so wtf do you care?), and I already mentioned great music. Go to the Milestone.
