The most notable aspect of this place is the service. The two times that I've been there, I have had T as my server the two times that I have been. She makes you feel so comfortable and unrushed. I also appreciate that every month they have a new specials menu.The only thing I will warn you about is that if it's a nice day, you have to hope that luck is on your side to get an outdoor table. Now that summer is almost upon us, I will be visiting more for a coveted outdoor table. The feeling of going and having a good lunch with a nice crisp glass of wine in the warm sun is unbeatable. I felt like I was on vacation instead of taking a long lunch for myself. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends or family along for one of their charcuterie boards and a bottle of wine.

A quaint little deli and cheese shop in Matthews, this place serves a well needed niche for the area.As soon as I walked in the door, I knew that fast and friendly service was to be expected. There aren't a ton of sandwich options, but surely something for everyone in a picky crowd. Not cheap per se, but pretty much in line with what should be expected in a place like this and in an area like this. Lots of really good beer options, some kombuchas, wine, etc...I need to come back for a cheese tasting and maybe some charcuterie when I have more time, for now it's just a place for a quick lunch to go. I will be back.

I really enjoyed this place! Me and a friend came here on a weekday for lunch and the food was super fresh and delicious! I got the Veggin' Out and my friend got the Chipotle Turkey Bacon sandwich and really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! They have some vegetarian options, but not a lot of vegan options other than modifying the salads. We also had a chocolate chip cookie warmed up and it was SO good. This was a nice little lunch spot and I highly recommend!

One of my favorite local spots! Came before I even moved to Matthews and the owner was so kind giving other recommendations for the area and his favorite things about Matthews and surrounding suburbs. So fresh and delicious!!!

Ordered to go. Portions were small and really not that great. The name was the best things about this place. The ambiance walking in was good too. I just wish the food was worth coming back for.Grilled cheese & salad, A sandwich & chipsJust wasn't great. Either one. Edible yeah. 2 stars for the food, because I won't be back for it.

I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally stopped in for lunch today with an out of town guest. It was delicious and I've found my new favorite lunch spot! We ordered the beet salad and the Reuben. Both delicious!

This is a great place in Matthews to grab a sandwich, cheese & charcuterie board, or sit outside for a few beverages. The outdoor patio is quaint and private.The service is always friendly here and the ambiance is casual and relaxing.They also sell deli meats and Nc cheeses to take home. I have also been here to sit at the bar to catch up with friends.

This place was wonderful! Great service! Chicken salad amazing! The ambiance friendly like a cute neighborhood cafe.

I have been coming to this place,almost weekly, for over four years. In recent months, I started seeing a difference in service and quality of food. The place used to have a bit of an upscale, quaint feel but now it feels like a chain restaurant. My last two visits were terrible - there is only one member of the waitstaff I recognize (and the only good one !). The food quality and portions are certainly not what they used to be. No one explains the cheeses with the charcuterie boards any longer - which was such a nice touch. I am sorry to say,I will no longer be visiting this establishment and will need to find a new place to enjoy my Friday glass of wine and cheeseboard. I heard the place was sold and there is new management. I think if they want to be successful, they need to go back to what worked before - great service staff and quality food.
