Fooled by the ratings. I nearby and chose this spot for a quick ice cream drop it. It was busy. I didn't really see a flavor like cookies n cream but was suggested Cookie Monster. At first taste, I was turnt off. Barely any taste and felt chalky. I went jn a store right after tasting it. Pricey. I could care less if it melted or not. Meh...

I go by this place all the time, and finally was able to go inside to try. It's a small ice cream shop located in a shared shopping center. There is plenty of shared parking. The staff are friendly. They have a whole case of dairy free options, which is amazing. I was able to try the peanut colada and the lemon lime basil ended up getting them in the lime basil which was a nice treat. Some of the toppings you desire may be in the back. The prices are a little bit steep. Will definitely come back and try again another day. Hope you enjoy.

It's National Ice Cream Day and they advertised buy one get one free waffle cones. Never been here so we picked them to try. Brought the fam and confirmed the cones were buy one get one. We got a blonde and a sea salted caramel then a scoop of butter pecan in a cup and two scoops of birthday cake in a cup. Our total was $23. I don't think we got our buy one get one. They were packed and just two people working so I didn't sweat it because they were working their tails off with the neverending line. Ice cream is delicious. If only we lived closer but it was a nice trip from Harrisburg. There's seating outside that's spread out. Located in a shopping plaza. Lots of families were out.

This was not supposed to be my lunch, but I'm here now. I was in the area conducting a tasting at the local Total Wine in Ballantyne somehow Yelp suggested local ice cream shop to me, and so this was only one minute away from where I was. When I walked in, it smelled so delicious. The decor is very inviting. I told Mary that it was my first time here and she allow me to taste all the flavors that I was interested in but because I'm a overachiever I decided to go with three scoops instead of two and I let Mary, select my third scoop, it is like a peanut butter Oreo flavor. It is absolutely delicious. This place is wonderful. The customer service is by far better than I expected! The cashier educated me that the ice cream is made in house. I was going to use apple pay but they have cash app pay as well so I used it instead! I tried non dairy chocolate coconut, dairy butter pecan and the mystery peanut butter oreo. Can you say yum?

Everything was great! Staff was friendly and ice cream was great. Chocolate and peanut butter cup in the fancy sprinkle cone. Yum.

My folks went here once and said the ice cream was good. During the holidays, we kind of went on a mini ice cream spree trying tons of local places to see if they were good. After enjoying Thai food, we decided to stop by and get some ice cream. This is in the same plaza as Starbucks, Stein Mart, The Fresh Market, and Home Depot. You can access a side entrance to Home Depot, which is next to The Local Scoop. There's a good number of parking spots for the plaza, depending on when you go. As we came a little after 5-6 PM, the place wasn't super busy and the two staff members working quickly got our order together. I tried the honey vanilla in a cup, while my dad got strawberry, and my mom got black cherry. Texture is smooth and the flavors were well balanced. It wasn't a cheap option, but the quality of the ice cream was very good. The spoons are a little flimsy if you're eating a pretty packed scoop of ice cream, but you can always bring your own.

Great little spot just a few steps off Main Street. Delicious ice creams and lots of space for sitting to enjoy your treat right there.

The ice cream is homemade I bike here a lot the little shopping center is awesome and this is a highlight of it. Very pricey! But great customer service! The banana pudding is the best in my opinion!

Stopped in after dinner and ice cream was delish! Super creamy with great flavor! The one flavor I was dying to try was not on the menu but hopefully it will come back as we get into fall??? The apple pie ice cream... it looked amazing from other reviews!

mid. ice cream wasn't that great. Service is fine. They do give you a generous amount of ice cream I will say.
