The food is always delicious and the staff is always so friendly! Have loved this place since high school! The new renovations and decor make it even better!

Great food, service and prices. We have been eating here for years. Got them to cater our daughter's wedding, everything was delicious! Joe and his team took care of everything!!

I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I liked the retro decorating. It's clean and the customers and staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had a simply bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The yoke was broken as requested and cooked perfectly. Bacon was crunchy. I was happy. Another, at our table ordered Hoover Gravy on their homemade biscuits. The biscuit was huge and beautiful. The gravy was cold. A little disappointing, but would order again asking the waitress to be sure the gravy was hot. It's a great, locally owned meeting spot. I'll be back.

A Diamond in the Ruff and well worth the effort to find.Unless you're deliberately looking for the place or it you just happen to spot it and you're hungry, very easy to overlook. It's about 3 miles NW of Downtown Lincolnton on NC 27 and unless you;re vigilant, very easy to drive byWalk in and your get a retro 50's feel from the furniture. At the same time, most of the patrons were locals and not exactly a very trendy young crowd. Must like the diners you find on the Gulf Coast of Florida that have some of the best food in the world.We walked in and just stood there till the hostess told us to seat ourselves. We did and she was there as soon as she finished with another table but as soon as she did, she was there.Looked over the menu and decided on the Rebel Basket which is a 1/2 burger with bacon, cheese (more of a Patty Melt) lettuce, tomatoes and Fries.Order came out in about 15 minutes which is very reasonable. Burger was delicious and only complaint and this is minor is that I wish they had not treated this like a Patti Melt. Makes a bit of mess with the melted Cheese.Fries were outstanding. Arrived unsalted so you could customize yourself.A bit hidden but worth the effort to find. I will definitely be back to try the Breakfast and the good news is that they are now open on Sundays although with limited hours.

Country place heading out of town, but very beloved! We arrived just before noon and the place was already hopping!You seat yourself in this establishment, which caused some confusion for patrons at the door who hadn't visited before. Perhaps a sign stating such would be helpful?Our waitress was scattered but friendly. Our food and drinks came out quickly and we never got thirsty. I ordered lemonade which used to be so good, but now tastes a little artificial. Maybe my tastebuds changed but it also looked different.The food we got was good. The fried squash is amazing! The macaroni looked like it came from a restaurant supplier and was nothing to write home about. I wouldn't get that next time. My daughter's chicken tenders were fine. Large portions!There was a woman working behind the counter who was constantly eating and when she turned to face the dining room she had Ranch dressing in the corner of her mouth. She looked sleepy and like she was out of it. It was distracting and also a little unappetizing. I ate 3 bites and asked for a go box.Local folks love it, but there are better or similar choices closer to my home that I'll likely frequent. Great if you live on west side of town.

Chicken chunks, mac and cheese, side salad... in a timely manner and excellent service.

Catering was easy and reliable. Food was delicious! BBQ and chicken tenders were a big hit. The food quantity listed for the number of people was accurate.

About 90% of the attempts I have made at Homeplace, you have gotten my simple order WRONG. I tried to like you, but you continue to screw up my order, so I will no longer be back.
