We were visiting Statesville and decided to eat here. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. I had the daily special which was country style steak with two sides. I got the mashed potatoes and pasta salad. The food was good. The meat was tender and the mashed potatoes were homemade. I liked the macaroni salad. The prices were good.

They catered my wedding 5/25/24 and I cannot say enough about this business!!!! Such wonderful people to deal with! John was super easy to work with from planning to meeting me at the rehearsal to go over last minute details. He even provided me with a floral centerpiece in my colors! His servers were professional and organized and needed no direction... and the food??? BBQ, cheerwine sauce, coleslaw, macaroni salad, potatoes salad and cherry cheese cobbler.... Each was better than the next!! Tell your friends not to miss out! Hire them and yoh won't be sorry! I will be dining here very soon!!!

Not fancy. Just like the cafes that used to be in drug stores we grew up with.When I was growing up in Brevard NC back in the 60's and 70's, we had three pharmacies and each had their own lunch counter and soda shot. That was a pretty common arrangement back then.Today you will be hard pressed to find a lunch counter in a CVS or a Walgreens but this is one of two in Statesville.You walk in and go to the counter and place you order. I ordered a Bar-B-Que sandwich with fries and a soft drink. My wife had a grilled Ham and Cheese with Chips on the side. They give you a little numbered flag which you place on your table and they bring your food to you when it is ready.Pretty efficient and the food is fairly good but the Bar-B-Que tastes like it came out of a can. Rather flat in taste and very little texture to it.All in all, very clean and service is good. I've had the grilled Chicken Sandwich special in here before and I would recommend it over the Bar-B-Que because it is quite good.

One of my favorite places to eat in Statesville. Always fast service and specials are home cooked meals mucho deliciousness. They also have a drive-thru. Awesome burgers as well and if you like BLT theirs is the best around. Lots of bacon piled high.

We were just looking for a quick, inexpensive breakfast at a local place as we had stayed the night in Statesville at a super nice Airbnb. This is not a fancy place for Ambiance, but the locals are there and they are friendly, the menu is very economical, and you get to try something called livermush. Who knew there was such a thing called liver much? And it tastes good too. And then

I was under impressed here. Food was ok, and as it was the weekend, the menu was limited... I'd give it another chance to try say a BLT or something but it just wasn't to be when I was there...

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Statesville. I come here a few times a month with coworkers and always have a wonderful experience. The ambiance is pretty neat. The resaturant itself is set in 1st RX pharmacy. They have causal grill food, and a few country staples. I love to call ahead and find out what their specials are. I love the veggie beef soup with a grilled cheese and it usually comes with a drink for less than $7. What a steal! You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. You fill your own drink. Food is hot and quick. I love their burgers, sandwiches, chicken fingers, soups. You cannot go wrong. Highly recommend for tasty food and a little nostalgia!

Best onion rings and burger in town! Salads are great also. Breakfast and lunch are great.

I tried this place for lunch and was let down. Figured I'd give it a try for breakfast. Both times the order was wrong,The food isn't very good either. The guy at the takeout window was polite and friendly but that's not what I was there for. Not sure how or why it gets good reviews?

Clean place with lots of variety on the menu. Fast service, daily specials, variety of seating options, pleasant staff members, nice bathrooms. Handicapped accessible establishment.
