Running my errands this afternoon and I was craving a hot dog. Yelp brought me to the Good Wurst and it was a great choice.These are not cheap hot dogs. This is quality with a lot of toppings and served with a side. I chose the "Carolina" which is a grilled hot dog topped with chili and cole slaw and onions and mustard. It's super messy and super delicious. And with it, potato salad which was creamy and chunky.I opted not to get a drink.The Good Wurst is open super late - they have a "pick up window" that stays open until 3am. And there is some outside seating, just remember that there are homes and apartments nearby so keep the noise down, mkay?[Round number review 3700 in North Carolina - 1780 of 2024 - 22803 overall]

Love this place! Hot dogs, brats, and chopped cheese!!!Service is super quick and plenty of seating available.Did I mention chopped cheese? It's incredible!

This is a great spot to try for lunch or a quick bite to eat late night. I tried this place in the afternoon and was able to find a good parking spot! The service was great! They were very kind and patient with me! I ordered the TLT and it was a really good Turkey sandwich! It came with some tasty potato salad! The inside was very spacious and plenty of seating! I recommend trying their baked beans as well! I will be back to order a muffin!

I've come here a few times, and they have an A1 hotdog, excellent service, and an industrial ambiance. This place is prominent in quality, and it shows. The meats are handmade, as are all accompaniments, making each menu item shine through its inherent mundanity. Basic sandwiches and hot dogs become instantly elevated. I order the Carolina Hot Dogs with the Belgian fries (sauces on the side). The portion is generous, making for a filling meal. The fries are hand-cut, and the sauces are house-made. They are well-seasoned and made to order, which yields a genuinely exceptional french fry. The hot dogs are indeed the star of the show. Handmade hot dogs with high-quality meat and the perfect texture with a deliciously meaty chili on top. The buns are pillowy and soft. It is easily one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. I highly recommend The Good Wurst Company and am excited to try their breakfast shortly.

I love me a bagel from goodwurst! I just moved to Charlotte and have been looking for a good Taylor ham bagel and I have found it! I totally recommend the garlic bagel, Taylor ham, egg and cheese. I also like to add Mayo and ketchup which is a up north thing I believe. It's not 100% a Jersey bagel but it's pretty close for nc. I love there's a walk up window outside so I can easily grab my food while walking my dog. There are also picnic tables outside. I usually get breakfast but they also service lunch/dinner as well.

Oh, how we wanted to love it soooo bad, but unfortunately, it is just okay to us. This particular GoodWurst Co. is in an excellent location surrounded by numerous work offices and apartment buildings. The establishment is spotless, and the staff is courteous. I will say they have an extensive menu, which is a bonus! We wanted to try everything on the menu but settled on the following order: Chili Cheese FriesThe ChicagoSmoked Jalapeno and Cheddar BratwurstHouse Frankfurter (added sauerkraut and mustard)Wurst BurgerThe House Frankfurter and Chicago were personal favorites, with the Chicago dog being the best. The other ones had either excessive salt or cheese. I would definitely return for the Chicago dog or try their breakfast sandwich.

Came on a Wednesday to try the breakfast sandwich and bagels. Service was great and so was the food! The pastrami egg and cheese ($7.95) was a pretty big sandwich and very tasty. I shared it with friends so looking forward to coming back and getting one all for myself. We also tried a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese ($2.25). I've never had a Montreal bagel before. It was thinner/flatter than a New York bagel, and more bread-y (less chewy). Also good. We came around 10am and the place was empty. Gets pretty busy during lunch so plan your visit accordingly!

Sadly, I think this place is closed for good (2/22/2025).My wife and I saw it a few months back and though "OH! We need to try this place out for breakfast. The bagels look spectacular!"We just drove by this morning to try 'em for breakfast. The sign is down, the picnic tables are gone and I'm 99.9% sure we were in the right place because the take-out window to the street was there, but the shop appeared empty.Gone before we could give it a try. :(

Great breakfast sandwich, both times I went they were sold out of bagels so recommend getting there early. Love the order window bc I can bring my dog
