The Getaway Restaurant and Bar

We're in Richfield 6:00 on Sunday night.We didn't want fast food.My son found The Getaway Resturant and Bar on line and it was close by.Definitely off the beaten path but easily found The Getaway had some outdoor seating but it was a little chilly.A rustic type building has a bar on the left side and tables on the right with pool tables in the rear that had several folks playing.Our waitress was nice informing us on what was good on their menu since it was our first time.My wife chose a 1/4 lb cheese burger with a side of hot chips.Our son got the 8 oz cheese burger also with hot chips.His girlfriend got their 1/4 lb all beef hotdog.I wanted wings.All of The Getaways wings sauces are in-house made.At another table they got a 30 inch pizza which was definitely the biggest I had seen.A pizza that size is 47.00.Our food came out hot and fresh.My wings were meaty and their medium sauce was just enough heat.My wife enjoyed her burger but loved the hot chips.Probably the best any of us had had.Our son said his 8oz cheese burger was the best he had eaten in a while.We liked the hot chips so much we got another order of them.I ask the group on their way by if they finished off that 30 inch pizza.They all laughed saying that several in their group where at the local college and it was going back with them.Service was good and food was good.

This place was an awesome little hole in the wall place with good food and an awesome little country feeling close to the lake. The staff always makes sure you're taken care of and have everything you need. If you're ever in the area try it out you won't be disappointed.

Good food and great service. Great place to take your family to for pizza or burgers. Has pool tables for family fun and competitions.

We have ate here several times and everytime is deliciou! Best pizza around, great wings, sandwiches and burgers. We haven't tried the steak yet but it is next on my list. My grand daughter is a huge fan of wings lol My grandson usually does not like pizza crust but he gnawed on everybodies. service is always great, I swear some of the nicest people around.

Food is good but owners have no personality. No customer service skills whatsoever. Waitresses are hit or miss. Can't stand eating on paper plates. With those prices, I expect my food on a plate.

Sooo yummy! When we're having guests over, this is our go to pizza place. We normally order online and the service is quick and accurate. Highly recommend

If you're after pizza & wings this is your place. Steak, not so much. My wife's 10 oz ribeye was very fatty & grisly. Only about a 1/2 inch thick. Her baked potato was very undercooked. But my pizza was great. Wings with Mango habernero were dynamite. Beer was cold.

Get little place out in the country.. best chili cheese fries around! Burgers are huge.. well worth the trip

Great food, great staff. The owner is fantastic. They have 3-4 pool tables and do karaoke on certain nights. Best pizza in town! You won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, if you like beer or wine they have plenty to pick from!

Our favorite place to get steak, it's sooo good! Nice little bar in the country. They also have great pizza and wings.
