Just moved to clt and this was the first course I plaid at. Course was kept well and everyone was friendly. Course was busy and play was slow but overall, had an enjoyable time. Would recommend to anyone. We ordered chx tenders and nuggets with fries. Food was warm and delicious. Drinks were also reasonably priced. We will be back!

I've been reading some good reviews about the upgrades to this course, including the addition of the Diamond Zoysia greens so it's been on my list of courses to play.Today it got checked off. I had a 12n Tuesday tee time and the weather was perfect for golf. When I got there at 11am to hit some balls off the driving range, I learned it was closed for some repairs. The Pro Shop guy said I could go ahead and start if I was ready so I did. This course plays very well. The fairways are in great shape and the course is wide open for the most part. There are some narrow fairways but maybe just a couple. There are just a few holes that leave you with a blind shot on the doglegs.I've never played on Diamond Zoysia so I wasn't sure what to expect.Just about a month in to the install and they still have a ways to go.It's almost like playing on green and silver sand with a little grass thrown in. It was very difficult to get a read on your putts.I especially liked the Par 3's on both sides, very accessible and set up nicely. I especially liked #18 which they consider their 'signature' hole. Which is 524 yards from the White tees. You have to go over a little creek to a landing area and then over a little pond to the green. It's visually appealing and wide open with all the water. There were several tee boxes that were in poor repair and in some cases just no grass at all, just bare dirt. That was disappointing to see. They get $32 riding for a Sr during the week which isn't bad.Their carts are gas and they keep them all clean and are following COVID guidelines. All the Staff I came in contact with were friendly and professional. Shout out to Gary who gave me some guidelines on some of the holes.I would highly recommend this course.

Overpriced for the quality of course.Several tee boxes are under repair.Very slow pace of play. Course management not to be seen on the course, and did not do anything to push play along. Minimum 5 1/2 hours per round on the weekends.

This course has vastly improved its greens, but unfortunately that's it. Tee boxes are still mud, golf carts over used, ball washers zero, tee times 5-8 minutes apart. Price $$ is high which they say is competitive to other course. Also I'm a walker since that golf has exploded since Covid. Weekend rates for walkers same as riders full price even with 90* and cart path only days. Every hole has been foursome tee box, foursome fairway, and foursome green all day 5hrs. They have sophisticated driving range with couches and monitors to tell your distance. Just a gimmick. Management very snobby. I'm feed up...

Beautiful course! A risk reward set up for sure, you can play hybrids off the tees and take on the course from 150-200 all day or you can get after it and have some wedges in hand. New greens that will be amazing next year! They all ready have a WAY better range then Emerald lake! WAY better chipping area then Emerald! & WAY better putting green then Emerald! No brainer if you live in Indian Trail/Matthew's. Can't wait for the greens to come in, if they can get them rolling right! Man oh man...This track could be set up to test even the low handicaps!

Purely from a person that doesn't play golf regularly, I'm a fan of this golf course. It's been around for a while and probably has changed management hands over the years, but it seems like a really decent place to play - Some people say the course is pretty challenging with all the par 5 holes here, but its not an open lynx course where my ball usually ends up on another hole and other golfers are in danger of being hit by me.I'm also familiar with the course since my family holds an annual golf tournament here in remembrance of my late father (who was an avid golfer). Most of his friends and friend of friends come and play... have a good day.. and also raise money for my dad's high school back in the Philippines. The funds create a scholarship for those kids that were not able to finish high school due to their family situation (they have to work...) so the moneys raised by the tournament allows them to go to school in the evenings and complete their educations. The staff here is super friendly and nice - even more so due to this crazy even we hold here and they definitely are very accommodating in making the golf tournament happen. The clubhouse is pretty standard... small golf shop in the front... and a bar/dining area in the back. Driving range, putting green, and chipping area are all near the clubhouse and the cart is included in your golf outing and green fees.

I played the Divide yesterday for the first time in over a year and it will be my last. They dropped a ton of $ on the driving range and little on the course. Greens were okay with some disease spots. Tee boxes were Barron. Cart paths were appalling. The worst part of the experience was the staff. We had G2's in a smaller cooler and was immediately and quite rudely told to put it back in the car. No coolers period! I understand they don't want people to bring beer, but Gatorade? My buddy always has a shag bag with found balls he donates back to the range. He hits 10-15 as a warm up, but the starter saw the bag and again was quite rude and told us we would have to but the $12 bucket from them if we wanted to warm up.Just an FYI. This is a C course and no where near worth $75 on a Saturday.

Decent golf course with a few challenging holes, #18 will challenge golfers of any skill. Teed it up around 1pm on a glorious Sunday afternoon and finished around 6:15pm, WHAT!?!? I understand weekend rounds take longer than your typical 4hours, but this was pretty ridiculous. No shade to the players, the pro shop must be able to control pace of play. Driving range is super unique with the 'TopGolf' designation. If you're not looking to play 9 or 18 holes, the range monitors will help dial in your distances. Food and drink service from the range is a plus. The Divide is putting a patio in near the 1st tee box, will be back to have a post round drink and 'cheer' on those teeing off the first.

Played The Divide this week. I am a former member and the course has improved (there was only one way to go from the condition it was in a year ago). From the start got off to a bad start - I booked the round online from the Divide website which specifically states "We have designed our reservation policies to facilitate a smooth booking process. There is no fee for booking your tee time on our website." HOWEVER - there is a $10 fee to book online. When I asked the staff about the fee I was given a nonsensical response that was total bs. It was very apparent that I was not getting any satisfaction and it was the way the course operates. IMO very consistent with the new ownership - it's very clear they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. It's a shame the way the course is operated by management detracts from a nice course where improvements have been made.
