The Dive N

This morning, I was in a rush, but needed to pick up some breakfast. I called the Dive in, and the lady on the phone was very nice and took my order after I had a couple of questions. I arrived and picked up my breakfast order of pancakes, liver, pudding, and eggs and everything was delicious. Is a huge parking lot and easy to navigate in and out I'll definitely be back there soon!

The $9.00 patty melt was a complete embarrassment and poor excuse for a sandwich. The 2nd half of my sandwich had a bout 2 ounces of meat ( if that ). I was told that they only use 5 ounce patty's and the bread is too big for the meat... That's a first. The manager was polite and very professional but that doesn't excuse not using enough protein and not getting your monies worth. Basically $9.00 for a half a sandwich and a lot of fries

Here's what I can tell you. This little home town restaurant has the best food, customer service and friendly staff ! It's busy and there's usually a line so pack your patience . But like anywhere there's a line - there's a reason- and this is it - the food ! It's good , it's affordable and the great customer service brings us all back again and again! Today's lunch did not disappoint ! As usual for me I got a yummy hotdog with chili & slaw that holds together really well. It Never falls apart in my hand like some places I've been. This place just gets it right. The fries were hot and crispy . It's easy to love this place ! Go check it out for yourself! You'll be glad you did. Two thumbs way up!

So good! I'm so glad I stopped by on the way to Carowinds. I'm not usually a grits person but these grits were on point and a generous portion to boot. Egg was cooked perfectly and the bacon was nice and crispy. The service is outstanding too. Neat 50's vibe interior. Definitely my new go to on the way to the park!

I would normally never give an establishment like this more than three stars for excellent service. That said the service was excellent with and food delicious! I was thoroughly impressed by the coleslaw. No mayo or slaw dressing but just a wonderful slightly sweet slaw that was absolutely delicious. My southern style hotdog was a hotdog with slaw, onions and chili! Such a wonderful taste treat! My wife also enjoyed their standard hotdog with onions and mustard. The star of the show was the hot & crispy french fries! Would love to stop there again sometime.

Typical diner but great food and service. Quick and yummy. Clean restaurant all food was fresh and cooked to order

This is place phenomenal for breakfast!! 5 stars every time.With that said, nothing irritates me more than someone that conducts a business meeting in a restaurant. 6 people talking about a companies business airing their dirty laundry in a restaurant is rude and inconsiderate to the business and fellow customers. Especially when it's clear that they are each trying to talk over one another at a volume that is inappropriate to the extent that the whole restaurant is bothered by their loud griping conversation. I moved tables to get away from it on my own. I suggest this well run establishment, post a sign, to deter business meetings from occurring and if it does to the point it is disturbing other customers, a manager should it address before it becomes a problem (I.e. customers changing tables, etc.)Still 5 stars for breakfast. Definite room for improvement with customer relations. Cheers!

This place has been on my list for a while so I checked it out for lunch one day. There was a sign on the door asking for patience because they started using a new ordering system that day. Despite that, the line moved quick and the food was ready pretty quick as well. Got the pimento burger with fries, and it was pretty average with not much to make it stand out from any other fast food burger place. Staff was nice and makes you feel at home. Would like to go back and get breakfast because it seems like a good breakfast joint.

Great spot, very good burger, great service. I wish they were open when I would normally be around Pineville, but can't change my work hours for food (wish I could). Great lunch spot, and very much my new go to when around Pineville, and they are open. Hidden gem.

This place shut down during COVID.So happy to see them back in action!I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and it was very busy.You order at the counter and they bring your food when it's ready.They will go ahead and fix your beverage while you wait.I had the Gyro which was really good.The fries, not so much. clearly frozen and not well cooked.The dining room is small and their are some outside tables under an awning.The service was real good and the staff was very nice and professional.They have free parking in an surface lot but its small.
